Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Chula Vista

I needed 3 pizzas for a kid’s birthday party in school. Since most of the pizza places nearby open at 11 and I needed them before, my husband suggested domino’s pizza in downtown Chula Vista. I usually check on yelp but it was late and I placed an order online for next day pick up at 10:40am. This place is still “contactless” which means the staff talk to customers through a very little opening placed at your belly height…very convenient uh! Staff is rude, do not come to the window to talk to customers and seem as they are giving you a favor selling you some junk pizza. Long story short: domino’s app (that I had to download to order and track my order) showed that my 3 pizzas were ready at 10:35am. I had to knock at the door and window for at least 3 minutes to get my pizzas at 10:55am. 4 people inside the store and nobody could give me an update on the status of my order for quite some time. In the meantime another customer arrived to place an order and the staff rudely told them to call as they couldn’t get an order in person. Just as a reminder it’s not gourmet pizza, it’s a fast food chain! The other customer left and was reasonably furious! While waiting and knocking, since I was not getting anyone, I tried to call the store (remember I was standing in front of their door). The phone number sounded disconnected! So tell me how customers can place an order! Anyway this is bad karma for me: as an Italian citizen I should have known better and avoid Domino’s....

I ordered my food online and was told it was ready to be picked up, but when I got there I was told that part of my order had to be remade and would be ready in a few minutes. So I said ok, can I have the rest of my order until the pizza is finished? (I mainly asked this because part of my order was a 20 oz. soda that I wanted to have while I waited, since it was literally 90 plus degrees outside) I got an awkward "um, ok..." for an answer, and did NOT get the rest of my order. I waited about 10 minutes, I guess they wanted to give me my entire order all at once, I don't know. But after sliding box after box after box through the tiny social distancing window, I wasn't offered an apology for the extra wait, and when I got home the chicken wings were soggy as well as the pizza crust. I have no plans returning to...

Ordered last night and cheese pizza was a joke it was basically bread and sauce with a few patches of cheese not even enough to call it a layer. When I called back Male on phone just kept giving me excuse after excuse of how all pizzas are made the same and that their cheese pizzas had no stretch to the cheese when pulled apart. I ordered 2 pizzas the other one was not returned because the toppings camouflage the lack of cheese and my concerned was more about what I was serving my kids. Ordered 2 pastas in a tray and barely got a layer of noodles in it . I ordered around 8pm I hope it was busy because it was my 1st time ordering and I have never been soo dissatisfied to take time out to review. Pizza was replaced and it actually was white with cheese and had a little stretch something worth...
