VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! Got our tires done next door, smelled good food, so we decided to try El Ranchero. We were interested in the 3 tacos for 3.99 special, but apparently it didn't apply to "Adobado". So my husband ordered Carne asada (FOR the special!). It ended up being $35 for our 9 tacos alone... My husband questioned the woman taking orders. Instead of a resolution (or credit to be honest) it was a reprimand telling him "What he ordered" instead of any attempt to fix it. Then she abruptly said, "I'm sorry but I'll be bringing your order right out!" Our total order, came to $70.51 not a cheap lunch at all. More bothersome, the guacamole on ALL 9 tacos was bad!! My husband and I came to have breakfast based on previous reviews. This restaurant had authentic Mexican food , food taste’s home made from the tortilla chips all the way to the Menudo. We had menudo, tacos dorados de Birria and Torta de Milanesa. Everything is made from scratch just like their wall art says. Quality and flavor of food is amazing, their horchata water is delicious. We stopped at this taco shop because of the Fantastic smell of carne asada cooking outside on the patio. We came in for tacos ordering carne asada, Barbacoa and fish. The carne asada had a good flavor however it did not taste like the smell that drew us in from outside. The carne asada also was full of fat and gristle. The fish taco was good but not the best I have had. The Barbacoa was really good but they didn't drain the liquid off and my taco was more like a soup.
