Mrs Rice beats Yoshinoya or any other teriyaki place any day. First the owners and staff here are extremely attentive and prepare each order personally to ensure the food is fresh. The bowls and plates are very filling as compared to what you'd find elsewhere as they give a heaping serving of proteins and rice. My family used to go there for like 30 years. However, they start increasing the prices of everything and they change the containers to smaller ones. They have the old ones in the wall (which are big and meaning more food) but when they give your food they have new smaller containers( meaning less food) and everything for the same price as the old ones. First discovered this place when I worked on Broadway and Oxford, got tired of "Price Club" (Costco) hot dogs and wanted something different and healthier.
