I (unfortunately) moved away from Chula Vista in 2009 to Riverside county. Finding good Mexican food is rare up there so when I come down to visit, I'm sure to hit up my favorite places. Today, my mom asked me if I wanted a good raspado. Well, of course I do! She brought me here and said it's one of her new favorite places. My niece was with us, as well, and we all got a taco. I got birria, my mom got cabeza and my niece got adobado. OMG! It hit my taco craving spot and I cannot wait to be back. They are not stingy with their meat and the young guy that took our order was super friendly. All of the tacos were good, the salsa selection was perfect and my chamoy y mango raspado is a must have. Seating is limited on a busy day (I imagine) and don't expect a quiet meal being that the freeway on ramp is right next to you. When the food is good, I don't mind. I grew up with a loud family so...

This place was great! We keep driving by every day and there's always people there so one day we figured we'd go check it out. SO GLAD WE DID! The tacos were on point the guys are super nice and it was delicious! We happened to get there at 5:15 (they open at 5:00) so we ordered and got our food really really fast cause there was only one person ahead of us. By the time we left there was a line, but they were serving everyone pretty quickly. Try to get there early to avid the line and...

I always enjoy checking out small, local spots so I stopped by for lunch and ordered their special, 3 tacos with potatoes. The sauce that came was excellent. Mild but full of favor but the tacos themselves were super disappointing. They barely had any fillings. I basically ate tortilla chips with few pieces of lettuce sprinkled on top. Definitely not worth the price.

Also, heads up, they charge a whopping 6.74% fee for using a credit card. Seems very high. There were no...

Replying to @youngandfly9 I've had like 20 tacos in the last couple weeks and counting. This was the highest recommended spot from all of you, and it landed. My favorite was the pastor, the cream sauce really made it, delicious. The asada was also good but wasn't as good as some of the others I've had recently. That saying, the fattiness was just right. The birria was delicious and one of the first I've had in San Diego. I think it would have used some more salsa but that was my fault for not putting it on, but was very juicy and not too salty which I think a lot of places overdue. I'd highly recommend this spot, especially if you're in the area! I'd give it a GIVE IT A TRY!
