I am a bit shocked at their horrendous customer service. I have been ordering pizza from NY Pizzeria for about two years. I used to live very close to the Palm Avenue location so I ordered many times from there and never had any issues. I've ordered through Yelp24, directly with the Pizzeria, through postmates, and through the Yelp app. Recently I moved to Bonita and live very near the Bonita location. I have only been here about two months and have ordered from Bonita about four times or so. I ordered through Yelp24 and on two occasions in two months, the requested ricotta was missing from the margherita pie. The pizza seems very plain to me without it. I always add pepper and it is honestly my favorite pizza. I used to get it from Luigis until I found this place. I complained both times. The second time, I was told that my business was no longer welcome at this establishment. Their exact words were "...Robert told me that he made your pizza himself because he's aware of times in the past when you've reported similar issues -- he told me they will not permit any further discounting of this order, and that they will refuse to make your orders going forward." If I had known, I would have taken a picture of the pizza. Unfortunately, I threw it away the next morning. Well I won't be eating their pizza again in either case. On the bright side, their pizza is good... When they get it right. Since it is the same ownership, and thus same service, I will be updating my review for...
Read moreI decided to give their white pizza a try after reading all the rave reviews for it. I’ve eaten many white pizzas and I’m sad to say theirs does not even compare. First, the flavor was incredibly bland. Aside from the super-sweet ricotta, there was basically no flavor. Next, the price. $29 for a medium white pizza? Yikes. I added bacon and fresh basil and did not see or taste ANY basil on the pizza. I thought the high price would be an indicator of quality. Boy, was I wrong. And finally, the presentation. As I mentioned, I requested to add bacon, thinking that, like most pizza places, the bacon would be chopped up. Nope. When I opened the box there were actual slices of bacon. And not even the good stuff - the cheap, greasy, off-brand kind of bacon.
To top it off, the staff were not friendly at all, and after I gave a 15% tip, my mediocre white pie with its lack of fresh basil and its cheap bacon strips came out to $43. Worst part is that I didn’t ask for a receipt, so I probably couldn’t get my money back even if I wanted to. I ate three and a half slices just in an attempt to get some of my money’s worth. The rest is going in the trash, and I HATE wasting food.
Don’t waste your money here. There are definitely better pizzas to be had in San Diego;...

I was blown away by their fresh NY style slices. The star of the show is undoubtedly their dough. It's evident that they take immense pride in offering the highest quality pizza dough in town. Each bite of their pizza provides a perfect balance of chewy and crispy textures, making it an utterly delightful experience.
But it's not just about the pizza; their meatball sandwich is a revelation. Perfectly seasoned, succulent meatballs nestled in a fresh, soft roll, topped with just the right amount of cheese and sauce - it's a must-try dish. From the classic Margherita to their unique house specialties, each item is a testament to their commitment to quality and freshness.
The staff also deserves commendation for their friendly and attentive service. Their recommendations were spot-on, enhancing our dining experience significantly.
Overall, Victorino's stands out as a must-visit destination in the San Diego food scene. Their dedication to freshness, combined with delicious offerings like their standout meatball sandwich, warm atmosphere, and excellent service, ensures a memorable dining experience. I'm eagerly anticipating...
