Panda Express — Restaurant in Cibolo

This Panda location is by the far the worst in the area. The location and facility is top notch but for the third time in my 3 visits the food has been sub-par. The kids working are very nice and respectful but they appear overwhelmed at times. Most importantly, the food is overcooked and just not quite right. Tonight my rice was a combination of mushy and rock hard. I had to go back to get teriyaki sauce for my chicken teriyaki orders. It gets a 2 instead of a 1 because the kids are nice and the building is new.

Update: 5 years later (8/4/23) and this place is still terrible. I ordered two plates, one for me and one for my son. He immediately began complaining about the rice. Said it was pretty terrible and that his orange chicken was off. Soft drinks continue to taste watered down (he has eaten there more recently than I have.) I got into my meal and it was obvious everything had sat under a heat lamp for quite a while. The chow mein attempted to murder me by absorbing all the liquid out of my body. The Beijing beef and orange chicken was all dried out. As I was throwing out around $15 of food, my son came back into the kitchen and informed me he had just thrown up. I have been to this location many times. I have read the other reviews and I have to say that I agree with the people who have left one, two, or three star ratings. The Schertz location is much better. I'm not sure if this is a management problem or what. I like the string bean chicken breast it's tasty and has low calories. This location tells me it will be up to 15 minutes of wait time each time I order it. That's actually when they have the green beans. Sometimes they tell me they are out of green beans..... there is a Walmart right across the road. If you run out of green beans go get some more! Now let's discuss the lo mein and rice. Half the time it is dried out like it has been sitting out for a long time. Let's be honest here, you can look at Rice and see when it's been out too long and needs to be thrown away. I feel like some of this is a lack of caring. So why did I give it a 2 star rating? I have been there multiple times where the food was hot and fresh and the portion sizes were generous. Placed an online order around 7pm for pickup at 7.20 went through the drive thru at 7.25 and was rudly told by the boy at the drive thru window that it was a "really big order" and would "take awhile." I ordered 2 entrees and an order of crab rangoon... I guess I didn't realize how challenging that was to put together since it took them until 7.40 to bring it out.

While I was waiting cars that came after I did received larger orders with multiple bags. Once I finally got the food the sesame chicken was missing, they were out of sweet and sour, and to top it all off it wasn't hot.

We eat here about once a month and enjoy the food. It usually does take a little longer than they say. I was prepared for that, but I was more upset at the lack of customer service in the drive thru, extended wait without hot food and missing items during this experience.

I think it would be appreciated by all patrons it if management would step in to resolve some of the issues that challenge...
