I had the pleasure of being served by Victoria, and she truly went above and beyond to make our visit outstanding. She was attentive from start to finish, always checking in at the right moments without ever being intrusive. The dining area was kept clean and organized, which reflected her strong sense of professionalism. Victoria impressed me with her quickness and efficiency, never letting us wait long for anything. What stood out most was how she stayed on top of our needs as well as the welfare of other customers, making sure everyone around her felt equally valued and cared for. Her dedication and hyperfocus on customer satisfaction really showed—she made sure we were not just served, but genuinely taken care of. Her hard work and positive energy made our experience at Erick’s Tacos exceptional. Victoria is truly an asset to the team!

My brother told me about this restaurant, and my Daughter and I finally made it here. The food was so delicious and the servings were generous and reasonably priced. The Staff was friendly and observant. It is charming inside. There are also T.V.'s on the wall for people who want to watch a show while eating. It is closed Mondays and open the rest of the week and on the weekend. I would check the website in case the hours change. The menu has many items to choose from! We had a serving of Bistec mini-tacos, and an order of beef enchiladas, and an order of cheese enchiladas. There is Tex-Mex, a great selection of tacos, traditional Mexican dishes, cocktails, breakfast items, hamburgers, and much more! I would like to try the shaved ice while enjoying the outdoor seating area when the weather gets warmer. It was wonderful!

We went to this place for breakfast after discovering it earlier this year. It was very neat, clean and smelled good. They have a full bar on site and plenty of places for photo opportunities. We were greeted with warm welcomes. Our cashier was very nice, friendly and accommodating. We ordered tacos to go. I had Barbacoa on corn tortillas. It was loaded with cilantro and onions and was quite tasty, but could use a little more seasoning. My daughter had chorizo and egg and bean and cheese on flour tortillas. She said the chorizo was delicious! The bean and cheese was seasoned well, but it was a little concerning that the cheese didn't melt. It had a great atmosphere and I would love to come back and dine in and also check out the bar. Definitely will recommend!

The restaurant is very nice and clean. They get an A on the aesthetics inside and out. Unfortunately, i was not pleased with the service and the food. I've been eating at the original Erick's tacos that is on nacogdoches Rd for a long time, so I had expectations. You are asked to pay first when dining in and even asked for a tip before being served. I spent $80 today to feed my family of 5. We waited at our table with no chips and drinks. After about a decent 15 minute wait we received our food drinks and chips. I had two beef fajita tacos with avocado. My tacos had holes on the tortilla, i can tell that the tortillas were handmade there, but let me tell you that it would have been a better idea if they used tortillas from the grocery store down the street. The fajitas were terrible. My kids bean and cheese tacos were terrible. They didn't even finish them, and they love bean and cheese tacos. The tortillas used in those tacos were just as disappointing. My wife's asada tacos were bland, and just had a rare taste to them. Just as we finished our food and i thought that i was done forking over cash for subpar tex-mex, the familia asked me for ice cream and Mexican snacks from their snack bar. I dropped another $26 (including tip) for 1 terrible corn in the cup, 1 raspa, 1 takis & cheese, & 1 hot Cheetos and cheese. Chale! The last image imprinted in my memory that I have of this restaurant is the beautiful art work on the wall and that one image of the owner driving a taco truck wearing a huge grin on his face as if he is laughing all the way to the bank. LoL... No...

Erik’s just recently opened and the service was awful!! The 2 stars is being generous and only because some of the food was good. The service definitely needs to be worked out for the busy times to keep up with the demand and employees need to be trained on cleanliness. When food was delivered to table the waitress sat the tray of plates on a dirty table and a very dirty napkins blew onto one of our plates and she took it off and served us. Gross!! The queso spilled on the tray she wiped the queso up with napkin trying to scoop it back into the bowl and tried serving us with it double gross!!! ( I told her absolutely not to get us a fresh one ) the waitress dropped a steak knife on one of us and laughed and said hope your not bleeding to death . So rude!!!! Some of the silverware was dirty ( disgusting) . Some of order was wrong and no one wanted to fix it. We asked to speak to a manager and was told no manager was available. They were super busy and overwhelmed with the demand but that is no excuse for the bad unhealthy service that was provided. The place seems to have a nice vibe and I wish them nothing but success but the service and employees needs to be trained up to do better. For the price we paid we were really...

The atmosphere was clean, the staff was staying busy cleaning tables and tending to four tables with customers, and the music was entertaining. To say the least, I was very disappointed with today's visit; our first visit. I placed an order to be picked up that included one strawberry smoothie, two fruit cups, one coconut raspa/snow cone with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and one strawberry fresca. The two plain fruit cups (had no chamoy, tajin, etc) and were served with fruit that had absolutely no taste to them and the snow cone/raspa had no blue coconut taste; it was watered down syrup with a scoop of ice cream on top. The way the raspa/snow cone was served was a surprise to me, because other snow cones I've had serve the ice cream on the bottom or the middle of the cup. I paid $25+$5 tip. It just feels like a complete waste to buy something to eat and it does not have any flavor to it. *Editing- to add that I didn't notice any of this until I arrived home. First impressions at a restaurant are a big deal for me, but so is giving a second chance to redeem themselves. Buying fruit can be tricky, I...
