Henry's Drive-In located in Cicero, Illinois is a fantastic establishment that I was lucky enough to discover thanks to a recommendation from the one and only Saul Goodman. As a fan of the AMC series Better Call Saul, I was excited to visit a restaurant that was endorsed by such a memorable and iconic character. And let me tell you, Henry's Drive-In did not disappoint.
From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the friendly and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff was warm and attentive, and went out of their way to make sure that my dining experience was enjoyable. The food itself was nothing short of exceptional, especially the hot dogs. I'm a huge fan of hot dogs, and Henry's Drive-In has some of the best I've ever had. They were juicy and flavorful, with the perfect balance of snap and softness. I also loved the variety of toppings available, which allowed me to customize my hot dog to my liking.
But what really sets Henry's Drive-In apart from other fast food chains is the attention to detail and overall quality of the restaurant. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the ambiance was charming and inviting. I also appreciated the variety of menu options available, including burgers, fries, and shakes.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Henry's Drive-In and would highly recommend it to anyone in the Cicero area. Whether you're a fan of Better Call Saul or just looking for a tasty and convenient meal, Henry's Drive-In is the...
Read moreI was genuinely excited to stop by Henry’s Drive-In in Berwyn because of its history and reputation, but unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing. The food was basic and bland nothing to write home about. I ordered a banana split, and to my surprise, it was all vanilla no chocolate, no strawberry just plain, boring vanilla. Worse yet, the poor young guy making it clearly didn’t know how to make a proper banana split and looked completely confused. Another employee, who seemed older, acted like he didn’t want to be there at all. He gave off the vibe that he wanted the place empty and everyone gone. The attitude was off-putting and made the experience feel even more uncomfortable. Honestly, the only thing that was tolerable was the drink. Everything else from the food to the ice cream was just bad. This place may have a legacy, but the people working there and the quality of the food don’t live up to it anymore. If you’re coming here for ice cream, just know all you’re getting is vanilla. That’s it. Not...

This is a classic place that you should definitely check out. It is located right off the side of old Route 66. A great American restaurant on a great American road.
This is a no nonsense place. The food is great, the service is excellent and fast, and they have plenty of parking and seating if you want to eat inside or in your car. I would recommend paying in cash.
The menu is great and varied, but really the best item here is the Chicago dog. You get two of them with fries. The portion is great and will keep you fueled all day. They also serve RC which is a great old classic to serve at a throwback establishment like this.
Seriously, one of the best spots in Chicagoland for a hotdog. I can’t recommend this place enough. 10/10!...
