Mr. Submarine — Restaurant in Cicero

This is a late review-I ordered this sandwich on February 18th, earlier during the year. Nevertheless, I will give an adequate and honest review from my own personal experience with this business. I can’t remember which delivery service I used but what I loved most is the customer service from the owner. He called to verify my order and toppings on my sandwich and made sure I was satisfied as a customer. I give him 5 starts for customer service. The sandwich itself was loaded and very filling! As far as flavor, I must be honest, the sandwich was subpar. There was nothing in particular about the sandwich that made it memorable or so satisfying that I would just have to order it again. Friendly staff, order is correct and fast and the best tasting Subs! But I visited on Tuesday, March 3rd to buy a Sub for my Lobby Day trip to Springfield, IL. My Sub was made by an other woman this time and it was skimpy! She didn't put the amount of meat that was suppose to go on it because I ordered a King-size Corn Beef & Ham Sub. I should have known something wasn't right because when I was handed the bag it was too light in weight. Went there for 3 Mr Submarine sandwiches, mozorella sticks, and 2 pickles only to get home and have a turkey sandwich as one of my Mr Submarine sandwiches and 1 pickle. Called to inform them of the mishap only for the female cashier to basically call me a liar about the pickles and that I had to come back with the sandwich to get a new one and no refund.
