Con Huevos — Restaurant in Cicero

I placed an order online and showed up to the restaurant 30 minutes after it was ordered. I went in and asked for my order when the servers stated they’re finishing it up now. That wasn’t true at all. I waited 5 more minutes however there were cops outside of the restaurant already upset that we pulled up to park but told them we were just picking up so my boyfriend stayed in the car while I went inside for our food. I kept asking the servers for how much time because we weren’t trying to get a ticket and they would keep giving me the run around that they’re wrapping up your food now. I had to tell them to please cancel my order so I can just leave and they were all looking at each other and trying to ignore me. I had to repeat it 3 times and say it louder when finally someone went to assist me but then said that her boss is the only one who’s allowed to cancel the order and she isn’t there. I asked her ok when will she be able to? And she kept averting the question and saying I’m not sure when she’s coming back she’s out running errands. So I asked ok is an hour reasonable to call her back? She didn’t want to answer still. The cop was outside at this point harassing my boyfriend that I just left before we got in any more trouble. It is simple, clean and it feels cozy inside. The staff in here is so friendly and very accommodating. A staff in the counter greeted us with big smiles when we walked in. I am a bit starving that time as well as my friends so we immediately decided what to order. I seriously do not know what to order that time because their menu has a lot of different options, there are also many vegetarian options and the prices are fair. Everything looks good but I chose to have their especial de la casa. It has grilled chicken, beans, eggs, salsa and all. It was delicious and I did not expect it. The salsa was so good as well as the beans, the grilled chicken is tender and well-seasoned and the combination of everything tastes good. My friends also love their food. It was our first time, we enjoyed it and we will definitely not hesitate to go back because we only tried few foods on their menu and there is still a lot to try and to explore. My first time I came here the food was actually good and no músicos were there! This is my second time here The food was horrible! We had the same as last time but looks like quality went way down! But them having músicos which honestly is my least favorite type of music to listen to threw me off. Which who am I to say they shouldn’t have to them here to each their own but when I’m not requesting a song and the guy is coming around asking me to tip him!? That was the first round we denied it then he played another one song then came around again to ask for more tips! Which we then gave in and gave him a good $6 but it was bc we felt obligated not bc we actually wanted to like I said I don’t like that type of music very much I was forced to listen to it and on top of that tip him which is just crazy coming around asking for tips after every song!
