Tony's, Jewel, Mariano's, Home depot, pretty much most major department stores that offer self checkouts accept cash except Sam's Club!! I usually bring my card but today I decided to have cash and found out the hard way after waiting in a small line that I would have to walk out of the line and start over with a cashier with 12 items. Where the signs that state NO CASH ONLY CARD! You have signs for everything else. You even have a sign not to cross the rope to go to the other side but make us walk down a long aisle to attempt to get in line that is actually two aisles deep. The picture below is what I walked into after already waiting 10 mins. 2 registers closed and probably the slowest unmotivated employees I have ever seen ringing out customers. Not to mention at least a min. 10 employees just walking around the area back and forth appearing to have no job duties but act like they are busy. When I reached the 25 min mark I noticed the side register by the jewelry and TVS would specifically grab customers who barely waited and ring them out. NO SIGN THERE STATING 10 ITEMS OR LESS!! If you have the capabilities to ring out people with your scan gun does it really matter the size of the order with 2 registers closed and more than enough employees to open all registers and have someone guide traffic and to make sure the lines are moving adequately and smoothly??? What are you policies on customer waiting in lines?? My total experience in line was 45+ mins. After she rang out about 3 customers she disappeared to perhaps take a break and I was still waiting to get out of there. Finally I said something when she returned 15 mins later and again she took certain customers that were waiting barely minimum of 5 minutes and I spoke my mind on how i found this to be ridiculous and wrong and called it B.S. I didn't swear out loud but stated specifically B.S. I asked to speak to a manager. She was pleasant in trying to calm me down but I asked how is it possible that register 1 is closed and we are stuck solely in register 2 while 3,4, and 5 take care of the middle line that has accumulated. 5,6 take care of the 3rd lined formed. She let me know the employee ringing up random people can only take people with 10 items or less. Wouldn't it make sense to put her in register 1?? It seemed by this confrontation that everyone woke up and was put into place. All registers opened and someone was directing traffic. 45+ minutes to late. How can you make up for this time lost?

A One-Stop Shop for Bulk Savings and Quality Goods Sam's Club offers an extensive array of products at competitive prices, making it a go-to destination for those looking to stock up on everyday essentials and unique finds alike. From groceries and electronics to household items and furniture, Sam's Club has something for everyone. One of the standout features of Sam's Club is its membership program, which provides access to exclusive deals and discounts. While the membership fee may deter some, the savings and benefits quickly make it worthwhile for frequent shoppers. The store layout is well-organized, making it easy to navigate aisles and locate specific items. Staff members are generally friendly and helpful, adding to the pleasant shopping experience. In terms of product quality, Sam's Club maintains high standards, offering a range of well-known brands alongside its own private label options. Whether you're purchasing fresh produce or electronics, you can trust that you're getting value for your money. Another notable aspect of Sam's Club is its commitment to customer satisfaction. The return policy is fair and accommodating, ensuring peace of mind for shoppers. While Sam's Club excels in many areas, it's worth noting that some items may be available in larger quantities than needed for individual households. However, for families, businesses, or anyone looking to save money in the long run, buying in bulk can be advantageous. Overall, Sam's Club provides a convenient and cost-effective shopping experience, making it a reliable choice for consumers seeking quality products and substantial savings. I went to sams club to purchase some items for my sister and decided to do a little more shopping for myself since i had brought a new membership for myself a month before and never shopped in store with it. My total came out to about $145. Some nice lady that i wish i could of gotten her name helped me and asked me if i wanted to upgrade my membership, which i politely declined. Then there was a issue using my card so she called over a floor manager named nicole, which im not even sure that the name she game me was her real name. Well i told nicole i wanted to cancel my order and go get a card from member services because the day i brought my membership they didnt have any cards. She kindly said she will run and get it but i declined because there was a massive line behind me of customers eager to pay and leave and i didnt want to hold up the line. She seemed annoyed by my request then we proceeded to the member services and got it all setteled, went back to check out where she tried to check me out and asked me to pay. I noticed that the total was like $50+ more it went up to almost $200! I asked her why my total was so high? She replies well i scanned your receipt from your paused transaction so im assuming maybe you forgot to scan some stuff when you checked out...i said no i scanned everything you can check yourself. Im guessing she was implying i was trying to steal. I asked to check why it was so high and she quickly canceled the whole order. Then i asked what happened and she said idk maybe you forgot to scan some items when you were over there and she started to count all the items and noticed there was the same amount of items and she still kept saying that i was wrong and didnt want to admit she was trying to sneak in a higher membership that i previously declined. Instead i felt like she was calling me a thief and a lair. She was nice at first then for some reason im guessing because i didnt have a more expensive membership she started acting rude. I dont understand. She definitely gave me a hard time. Took me over 30 minutes just to finally check out and they left me with a bad taste in my mouth. My family have been members for 15+ years maybe even 20 and we spend thousands at sams club every year. Im a driver and use my familys membership before purchasing mines to purchase gas and i pump 3 time a week so you can imagine how much money i spend at the gas station alone. I didnt appreciate her trying to make it seem like I was a thief for her own personal gain , because im sure they get bonuses if they get...

Day 0: Ordered grocery delivery for the next day.

Day 1: Groceries to arrive 5-7 pm. leaves work early to ensure i’m home to receive date night at 9

5pm: order in progress… 7pm: order in progress…contact chat support, they ensure order is coming. 9pm: order in progress, chat ensures order is coming, 1+ hours wasted on chat, 2 hours waiting around. 10pm: leave home, arrive late to date. 11 PM: order delivered email 11:30pm: come home to find order is not there.

Day 2: contact support again, they advise to call the club. 2 hours of passing through support hands. Informed order is still at club and delivery driver claimed order in system as picked up and delivered falsely. Club says they can send later that day. I say send between 2-4pm. 4pm comes and leaves. Call club, order still there. They suggest I come get it. I demand refund, they state they cannot unless I come in. one of many people i spoke to over several hours offered no refund but $30 gift card on $300 order.

Day 3: Make more calls, passed around more for several hours. Order still at club, will not refund me. Says I must come in club to show my ID and they will give me a $.06 gift card. yea, 6 cents. hours and hours, they request i text them pictures of my license so they can refund me. Supervisor shocked when i inform I cannot get to the club for their mistake. (why do you think i ordered delivery).

Total Value Received From this Order: Out 3 days of my life from working with Sam’s club support, no groceries, anxiety, +$.06 of sam’s club gift card emailed to me.

Worst experience with any organization, for profit, non for profit, governmental, student led, anything.

Safe to say, I’m taking the future cash flows of my family, and my descendants business elsewhere. I will take measures to ensure my descendants learn from my experience and don’t fall for Sam’s Clubs cheer theme, “The Member is #1.” - I’ve actually never had such an unpleasant experience in my life other than the occasional sudden passing of a family member.

Update 5/14/24: I never received the $30 gift card which was also not sufficient in my opinion. I did however get a $5 gift card! Anyway, I tried ordering from there again, and received undercooked chicken (found out as I bit into it) from the prepared foods section. Please please please save yourself...
