Ross Dress for Less — Local services in Cicero

I always shop at Ross but this was my first time shopping at this one. From the moment I walked through the door I felt very uncomfortable. My wife and kids were with me but I must say first that I am an African American male. As I stated the moment we walked in the store their loss prevention teamed started follow us around the store. One of them walked up to us and said hello and continued to watch us as we were shopping. We confronted the female ( loss Prevention) and asked her why she was following us and she then walked away without responding. As we proceeded to shop another female started following us from the loss prevention team. We went to check out and I asked the cashier if it was possible for me to speak to a manager. The supervisor (Martha) approached us and ask the problem. I kindly asked her if their loss Prevention team assigned to follow all customers around through the store while they shop and she told me yes. That it’s their job to follow people around the store, so I stated that it made me and my family feel very uncomfortable and that I didn’t feel that their right job description. She then only said with a grin on her face that she will “talk to them”. Whole time she pretended to be the manager which I asked for in the beginning. I didn’t feel to satisfied with her answer or how she went back over to one of the loss prevention team member laughing loud enough about the situation for me and my wife to even hear her. The customer service in terrible. I was there on Mother's Day trying to find a shirt for my birthday the next day. I accidentally dropped my phone when I got to the register to get ready to check out and noticed it was gone. So immediately I asked security did anyone find a phone I told him that I need my phone because I'm deaf and use it for a listening device and he said I can't leave here at the stand to go help you find a phone. So I backtracked my steps and was asking anyone did they find a phone. One of the employees I ask who I believe literally didn't want to be bothered at all with the whole situation. But I found it myself lying under clothes that were on the floor. This Ross is always messy and never have anything because everything is picked over and stuff on the floor. So I will never patronize this Ross ever again. Get more people to work there and also someone willing to help the disabled. Definitely won't be back because of...

When I first went in I almost lost my mind...lol it's a shopper's madness and racks on racks and racks again of lots of merchandise and clothing of all brands but my favorite part of the store is the personal care section. I got some different scents of aromatherapy bath salts and gels and body sprays and lotions all designer fragrances. I'm big on healthy items for the skin and this place has it all. I even got a collagen facial peel mask which is usually an expensive buy needless to say it was also affordable. This place had a line so long I almost left because of the wait but the deals are just un heard of and I will go back especially when you want to get alot for your money.
