This place is so good!!!! After searching for a Chinese place to try, I chose Auntie Apple's because it seems new and the food looked really good. I picked up an order of Orange Chicken + fried rice, and Sesame Chicken + lo mein noodles. Everything was flavorful, cooked perfectly, and a huge portion (I got two full meals from one dish, definitely worth the price.) The orange chicken had a kick of spice that balanced the sweetness of the orange flavor. The sesame chicken was the best I've ever had, not too sweet or spicy, tons of flavor. Plenty of large chicken pieces and right amount of sauce, breaded perfectly, cooked nice and hot. Both the noodles and rice were really tasty even by themselves, they had tasty vegetables and seasoning. I will eat inside next time because the actual restaurant is ADORABLE!! such cute decor, and such friendly people. TIP: order from Auntie Apple's preferred square website menu, it will be much cheaper than doordash, I will do this next time (but had no issues using DD other than their...

Tom, Auntie Apple, and her daughter are the backbone of this great restaurant, which offers many traditional and specialty dishes made the way Auntie Apple has been home-cooking them for years.*
Our family (with Chinese and Korean heritage) orders from here once a week on average, and our favorites include the roast pork fried rice, baby bok choy in garlic sauce, stir fried green pepper beef, salt & pepper tofu, fried wontons, and sesame balls.
We have also tried and enjoyed many other dishes, such as the congee (a childhood staple of mine), braised pork with preserved veggies (very rich flavor), Singapore noodles (a bit "spicy" for our kids but we liked it a lot), black pepper beef, and more.
The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and for those who desire to dine-in, the interior space has been nicely updated.
We hope to enjoy Auntie Apple's food for many years to come!

Read moreI was visiting Cincinnati for a buisness trip and was looking for a restaurant that had vegetarian options. A co-worked recommended Auntie Apple Kitchen so we went there for lunch. The restaurant was on the small size but still pretty spacious with a good balance of number of table versus the space. I had as an appetizer the Gyoza which was nice and crispy on the outside and soft in the inside, very tasty. For the main entree I ordered the Braised Tofu which was cooked perfectly along with some fried rice. The fried rice was great, not too salty with just the amount of flavor. My colleage was also very happy with what he ordered. Overall it had great food, friendly service and very resonable prices is. I recommend this restaurant, I will definitely go back to Auntie's next time I am...
