You Lovely people of this beautiful venue really need to find a way to sell your tickets TICKET MASTERS JUST GOT SUED LAST WEEK. Honestly I would love to give this place a five-star rating because it is a very nice venue for concerts. I will say this that Ludlow garage needs to leave Ticketmaster alone because I have tried five times in one day to buy tickets to 480 East in one day. Not that I didn't have the money not that the people that I'm going with didn't have the money Ticketmaster refuses to accept credit cards or debit cards or anything that's under $100 in which you are losing customers that can very well eat in your restaurant and enjoy a good show I have been waiting on this show all summer long and because Ticketmaster will not allow me and other people that I know that want to attend the restaurant as well as the show we won't be able to come because of Ticketmaster. As a business you guys need to find another place to do business besides Ticketmaster because they are not right and you guys could be making a whole lot more money if you did not have Ticketmaster. You guys need to come up with something where people can buy tickets only through Ludlow garage even if they eat dinner there or not they're there for the show that's still money coming to the business not to Ticketmaster. You guys could be making more revenue instead of going through a second and third party to sell tickets. Just saying something needs to change and again I'm going to be disappointed because I cannot see the show that I truly truly want to see unless I'm paying over $100 and that should not...
Read moreMy daughter is a UC student and lives directly across from your restaurant. Whenever we visit her we always come to your restaurant for food. We have been there for the Sunday brunches, lunches and dinners and we just love to come in. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is welcoming and we have never once had bad service. The service is so amazing that I would like to share my latest experience with you. Just this afternoon, Sunday, January 5th, I found out my daughter wasn't feeling well. Anyone who is a mother knows how helpless you feel to be over an hour away and not be able to help. I so wanted to go to her to make sure she was taking care of herself, but also knowing that she probably wasn't going to do what I would do for her. I decided to do the next best thing. I phoned your restaurant to see if you delivered but found out you did not. I must say how touched I was when the employee who answered the phone offered to walk three orders of soup across the street to my sick daughter. It is this type of an employee and this type of service that makes your restaurant stand out from all of the others. I appreciate the extra effort your staff went to ease the mind of a mother who couldn't be there for her daughter. I simply would like to make others aware of how your restaurant rates so highly in the hearts of two parents who could not be there for their child. Thank you with all...
Read moreHard to believe it was my first visit to the place.
The surrounding area was neat with a variety of restaurants, shops and a movie theater on ludlow street.
We ate at ludlow garage. It was a bar and grill style with 2 small rooms. Menu had a small variety of sandwiches, flatbread, salads, and a few entrees. There was a full bar and a decent variety of beer and wine. Food was good and server was very good.
The concert venue was oddly configured but cozy. The sound was excellent considering the odd configuration. And considering 50 years of the site and the historical significance due to some of the premier artists getting a career boost at their start at the place, it is a place rock fans need to visit at least once.
The band we saw was Orleans. Wildly popular for a brief period in the 70s, they are forging ahead in intimate settings. The band was very good. Knowing their place in the music world, they mixed the handful of hits they had with album tracks and more recent recordings. The 90 minute show was well received by the crowd. The one disappointment was the absence of john hall, founding member and guitarist, who had...
