I booked a gel manicure with Laura originally, when booking I misunderstood that a gel manicure is not equivalent to a full set. Prior to my appointment Laura communicated to me two days before at 7:30 PM, that she was not able to do french tips as she can’t do them (even though on their website it says tier 1 includes french manicure), so I then asked her to send me a selection of different styles she can do. Laura then shared with me several photos of examples she can provide, in several of the photos, it is clear to me that these nails are extensions, however Laura claims they are not. Ultimately, after showing up to my appointment Laura told me that she cannot do extensions and because of a simple misunderstanding, I would have to pay her still. Laura charged me for a cancellation fee (26.44), even though I showed up in time for my appointment, and only had confusion on the difference between a manicure and a full set. Truly feel like I was taken advantage of, i’m saddened to see another woman taking advantage of a young college student when she could’ve been understanding and empathetic about a confusing situation, instead she charged me a fee. No where in the cancellation protocol does it say that if a client shows up for their service on time, and a tech doesn’t know how to perform a procedure, that the client should have to pay a cancellation fee.

I came to Elora for the Valentine's Day Couple's package, which included a scalp treatment, relaxation massage, and a foot scrub, followed by champagne and chocolate strawberries. I had Kaitlyn and my partner had Lauren and we both had an amazing experience. The atmosphere was calming and welcoming. We each had our own room, which made the massage even easier to relax into with such a cozy space. I really enjoyed the gentle waves white noise, and the lighting was perfectly dim and comfortable. The massage table was warm, soft, and very supportive. Kaitlyn is an absolute expert, and gets a 10/10 from me. She had the perfect amount of pressure throughout the entire service, I was very impressed with her skills. My partner said the same for Lauren. I found my new place of tranquility. I've had 3 massages at different spas, and I hated them! They hurt, alot! I decoded to try Elora Spa since my bestie lives right around the block. I was not looking forward to it. Then I met Kaitlyn. She took the time to ask me questions about what I liked and didn't like. She was personable and very attentive. I felt at ease right away. The 60 minute massage felt like 15 minutes. I was so relaxed and didn't want it to end. I will definitely be back. In fact, my friend and I decided we will get a massage every 6 weeks.
