I have been at Chipotle customer for years. I always order the same thing, a bowl with half chicken and half steak. I'm usually charged the full price for a steak bowl, which is okay. Today I place my order and was charged for a chicken burrito and double steak/ double meat even though I did not ask for double meat and it did not appear I got double meat. When I asked why my total was over $17, The employee said, "sorry I gave you double meat." I told him I had not asked for double meat and it didn't look like double meat. He said it was and the price was $17.13. I was really hungry and had to attend class at the nearby college. I paid but I am very unhappy with Chipotle. I tried to call customer service but it is fully automated and will not allow you to speak to a person. I filed a complaint online, but it only allows you 200 characters, so there's no way to fully explain what happened. The service there has gone downhill over the last year. Clearly, they do not want to be contacted by their customers to let them know when they're doing poorly. I will NOT be going back to Chipotle --at all. The weird thing is that the customer before me DID order double meats and I saw the same clerk give him much more food than he gave me. I felt there may have been some bias going on, but I have no way of proving that. What I do know is that I was given poor service and paid too much for something I did not ask for or get. I do not continue to spend money at businesses that do not value me...
Read moreIt was an online order, out of 6 ingredients that I payed for I only got 3. They never mix ingredients for burritos so I kept biting in hoping that the other three are just somewhere hidden. Halfway through I see they got the whole order wrong so I drive all the way back to chipotle and explain the situation. I kindly ask them to remake it but the employee said chipotle policy states if I ate the whole burrito there’s nothing they can do. My issue wasn’t resolved and I had to leave home with that other half of the burrito that I didn’t want at all.
She continued saying they’d only be able to remake it for me if I brought back an untouched burrito. Logically you need to bite into a burrito to know what’s inside, and chipotle is popular for not having the ingredients spread out evenly in burritos. She mentioned I should’ve just unwrapped the burrito before going in to check if all ingredients are there. I disagree, it’s not my job to check you’re doing your job correctly. Just please get people’s orders right next time
And as for Chipotle, please change your policy because what you’re making your customers suffer is ridiculous. I know I’m not the only one who’s experienced this.
It’s very embarrassing going out of your way because someone else gets your order wrong. I don’t enjoy giving complaints but my husband encouraged me that I stand up for myself because this inconvenience wasn’t any...
Read moreI have mixed feelings about this place. I love the food. I Love that chipotle is careful with the ingredients they purchase. I love that they have meat substitute, plant based sofritos that is so good I don't feel like I'm sacrificing. I also love that I can order online with the intention of a quick pick up. The staff are also generally polite. Lastly I love their chips; they are light and flavorful. I think they use a lime flavored salt.
This chipotle loses stars for two main reasons. One: ordering online means showing up at the designated pick time and still having to wait. Of the many times I've ordered for pick up, only once was my order waiting for me. I've had to wait as long as 20 minutes past my pick up time while watching staff stand around and chatting in the kitchen. The second reason for losing stars is that I pay $2.05 for chips and salsa. They give a decent amount of chips but give a salsa in a fairly small container. During my most recent visit, that container was only half full.
The staff all wear masks and there is no inside dining. The restaurant is pretty good at allowing for social distancing. They have a small patio that I've brought my dog to dine, pre-Covid. They also offer coke products and have lots of other non soda options. I like that they offer...
