Roast & Toast - Cafe & Cocktail Bar (Simple Roast Downtown) — Restaurant in City of Auburn

Coffee is delicious, my vanilla latte was excellent, unfortunately couldn’t enjoy it with my sandwich; waited for my breakfast sandwich 25 minutes, I witnessed patrons that ordered after me receiving their food order, I inquired about my order , staff stated that my order was taken by another patron even though I was watching the counter never saw a single container placed on the counter nor did I hear my name called, they apologized and said that they were making me another one and would bring it out to me. I waited, waited, and waited; I saw other food orders going out, went to the counter inquired about my order, I was told he was finishing the order. It was a couple more minutes, I received my order finally. I made a statement to the staff about my order being dropped, statement was denied, still defending that my order was picked up by someone else. It was busy and mistakes happen, it is best to admit to a mistake then to deny one, and offer compensation to...

After taking my little one to Play Place, I wanted to try some local coffee and I'm a big google googler! I saw this place and really was intrigued by the menu- I noticed there were other locations and someone recommended the drive thru location out west- So, that's where I went. Although the line was quite long, it was WORTH the wait! I was greeted by a friendly guy who answered all my questions about pumpkin and I ordered a pumpkin king chai with pumpkin, salted caramel, toffee-- just look at their "Pick your Poison' choices and you'll get my drift....I LOVED IT! They were out of their pumpkin cream cheese muffins so I got a cinnamon roll warmed and it was good! Absolutely hoping this place opens up closer to the Syracuse area because I'm still thinking about how creamy, flavorful and delicious it was! Can't wait until next time I'm in the area.......

I absolutely love it here. We’ve now had both the cafe and cocktail bar. The cafe was everything you could hope for. We came in on the Saturday of opening week, it was very busy but the service was very quick, and we got a table to sit and enjoy our toasts and coffee. Since we’ve ordered to go and even having the toasts to go they are phenomenal. We went to the cocktail bar tonight (may 3rd) for my birthday and the atmosphere was totally different. Dimmer lights, a bit less hectic. The bartenders were the sweetest, enjoyed having conversations with us, and again service was great.
