The Belmar Pub & Grill — Restaurant in City of Binghamton

Tonight was the first time that i have had The Belmar pub & grill food via grub hub. I must so how impressed that i am. First thoughts were this was just going to be another "bar" food well its really not. I would like to say holy fluff the amount of food that you get for the price is awesome. You get about a dozen wings choice or flavors. The tenders you get 4 with a fluff ton of fries. Wing perfectly crispy.

The only negative i found with these is the sauce's. The hot sauce (mild) seemed thin and oily but when consumed was friggin tasty wish it was a little more concentrated. The tenders meal only comes with one small cup of honey mustard which is not nearly enough to cover the shear volume of food they give you.

I have to admit that I've always been partial to "dive bars". The Belmar is definitely a dive bar. Nothing fancy. No Internet juke box or games and limited seating. The tap beer selection is quite extensive and the kitchen turns out some fantastic food at reasonable prices. I'd say the burgers are the best of any I've ever tasted. A hodgepodge of blue collar workers, business men, out of work artists and bikers occupy the bar during the afternoons and while those people are what makes the Belmar great the evenings and weekends bring the local college kids and musicians in for the scene. My husband and I were traveling back home to Buffalo after visiting down state. The snow was really bad and we decided to stop and hang out to wait it out. The Bills game was at 1 so we looked up the closest Bills baker bar and came across thee place to watch a Bills game in Binghamton! It was like we stumbled into a family pot luck. The place was filled with crockpots of amazing food and snacks, a dj, great deals on drinks, and amazing company. If we lived closer I’d 100% come here all the time to hang.
