The location of this place is just about perfect to grab a little food to go hang out next to the lake and eat. This is the place you will go if you didn't make reservations to COHO, looking for something a tad more casual, and/or are still in your bathing suit. There is some indoor seating, but not too much with a few tables and a counter/bar type situation along the window. This is not the place for ambiance, in my experience, but that's fine. The people are all super friendly and the pizza is pretty darn solid. And they have booze... if you're into that kind of thing.
It's all whole pies. No slices. Also some sandwiches (panuozzi) a few starters and salads. We had the cauliflower wings, which were good. This place only has an oven, so there wasn't anything lightly breaded and fried. Just oven-roasted, but done well and the Bang Bang sauce was pretty different and tasty. The salads are large and seemed to be enjoyed by everyone. But the pizza is why you come here and pizza is why you will come back.
They have a proper pizza oven, which for some oddly-satisfying reason has a live feed on the big screen in the dining area where you can watch all of the deliciousness come to fruition. All of the pies are unique and from what I tried, well executed. Each pie was a little different too. The consistency/doneness of the crust was noticeable. We had 4 pies, two of them being the Keuka, and with them next to each other on the table, you could barely tell it was the same type. But, in spite of some visual irregularities, the pizza was very good overall. Great crust with thoughtful combinations of toppings and sauces. This place isn't a pepperoni and cheese kind of place, and that's...
Read moreI had an incredibly frustrating experience at this restaurant, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend it. I placed a pick-up order through DoorDash (the only way you can do take out online) and it took over two hours for my food to be ready. The chef kept insisting that DoorDash had to "wait," which made the entire process feel unorganized and unprofessional.
What really shocked me was that they ran out of pizza dough before 7 p.m. on Mother’s Day weekend, during a busy time with prom celebrations going on. The restaurant clearly didn’t plan ahead, and it left many of us in a frustrating bind. To make matters worse, Steve (who I assume is a manager) promised he would call me within 5 days to discuss the situation and offer a solution, but I never heard from him.
Additionally, the online menu is misleading—it doesn’t specify the size of the pizzas, which turned out to be only 10 inches. It’s disappointing that the restaurant can’t communicate these basic details clearly and isn’t prepared for high-demand periods.
Overall, the lack of planning, poor communication, and long wait time made this an incredibly unpleasant experience. I won’t be returning.
I should have known I would get customer "service" similar to my...
Read moreUPDATE & EDIT!!!!! WE went back last night..And WAS Awesome!!!!! FOOD was fantastic.. and we are now sold... I'm guessing first time they were still getting things going..always gotta give a place a second chance.. especially when first opening!!! Thank You..we will be back soon!!!!
Sorry- not being a a-hole but this was definitely not worth the price!! The cauliflower was simply cauliflower with boom boom sauce added (ours wasn't roasted) the pizza was burnt on one half.. perfect on the other - very small for 18$... We paid $61.25 for 1 average pizza - a serving of cauliflower, and s'mores dessert -(it was the best part) a root beer, and one wine. Only thing we will go back for is the dessert..next time we have a family camp fire!!! Service...
