Outstanding Quality, Service and Value - Ignore Negative Comments!
I admit because of my traveling and schedule I am an infrequent patron of Patty's Place Diner. However, when I am in town, I look forward to breakfast at Patty’s and chatting with the owner, Jen who always has a smile on her face and an upbeat attitude, even considering the trials of making ends meet in a difficult and competitive business environment. Unfortunately, when preparing to post a review of breakfast this morning 03-12-22, I happened to notice a few vicious, fake and ludicrous reviews on Google Reviews as it regards Patty's Place. Even to the extent that some dimwit suggested Patty’s staff or is racist or supports racism. I say enough of this garbage, and may you rot in hell for such a lie and deceptive comment. I can positively and unequivocally attest to the fact that these reviews are bogus, but some deranged individuals apparently get their jollies by tearing down small businesses and posting untruths. What a cruel world we already live in, and then you have wackos posting unbased vile reviews of the best breakfast / lunch establishment in the greater Canandaigua New York area that serve no useful purpose to anyone but to further the radical left’s toxic agenda, create discord and animus. Such people are sick maladjusted individuals. No one in their right mind is critical without offering suggested solutions for improvement. But to post reviews that serve no useful purpose but to incite hatred and tear down hardworking business owners is beyond reprehensible, I don’t care how difficult the issue and poor the service or quality if your eggs were runny and the coffee wasn’t refilled on a timely basis or God forbid that you had to wait 5 minutes too long for your meal. Remember, for those reading this there are two sides to every story. If you don’t have something positive to offer, then I suggest you shut your mouth, stifle your text fingers and go somewhere else that meets your every whim and beckon call. But as far as I am concerned, Jen, her sister and the entire staff does a superb job considering the hurdles they must overcome every day, and that includes being subjected to rude and ornery patrons and reviews. Today’s breakfast entrée of poached eggs, homemade corned beef hash and hash browns, homemade white toast, coffee and orange juice was the best I’ve ever had, notwithstanding the wonderful service which could not have been better, and all delivered with a sincere smile...
Read moreMy 90 yrs. young father and myself visited this outstanding breakfast diner in Canandaigua NY on Friday, May 10th, 2019. This was only our second visit since last November. Patty's Place has a history and heritage unto its own. It's like stepping back when time stood still. Cannot say enough about the warm and welcoming feeling you experience when you walk through door as though you were already truly appreciated for your patronage before ordering. You are treated more as a member of the family than a customer. Even the other customers (or should I say guests"") are friendly, relaxed and seemingly happy. From the outstanding and personable service from the owner, Jenn and her wonderful wait staff to the unbelievable variety, quality and quantity of food to the very reasonable prices they offer, one cannot help be impressed by this establishment's welcoming environment, old fashioned customer service and value beyond expectation. If you are a resident in the area or a visitor passing through, I guarantee you will not be disappointed. In fact, you will ask yourself how they can possibly serve this much food, hold their prices in check while maintaining the highest level of professional service that they do. A real flawless diamond in the proverbial rough. By the way try the eggs benedict and homefries. Best ever.... and I've...
Read moreLooked inviting but when we walked in a waitress walked right by us as if we weren’t there. I even said good morning with no response from her. Another waitress finally approached us & said sit anywhere. We sat in a booth and waited. Finally the waitress who told us to sit anywhere came over with menus & silverware. We told her we already know what we would like & said we would like coffee first. She brought us our coffee then proceeded to clean tables while we sat there wondering why she didn’t return to take ours orders since we told her we were ready to order. The other “unfriendly” waitress walked right by us AGAIN as another couple just walked in & before they even sat down she said to them, “coffee & water?” They sat down behind us and that “unfriendly waitress” immediately took their order while we sat there still waiting for our waitress to even return to take ours. We decided not to be treated like second class citizens and got up and left. It was awful!!! We will NEVER go back there again! All we did was walk in for a nice breakfast and were treated terribly especially by the unfriendly waitress with her glares. We did nothing to her other than to say...
