Liquid Shoes Brewing — Restaurant in City of Corning

Was not expecting such a small place to have such amazing beer! The ocyrus sour was tart and fruity but not overly so. It was delicious! And my bf had an IPA (that I can't remember the name of) that was so juicy! We also had the meat&cheese platter which was good and the fall seltzer flight. The candy corn seltzer was really good (and I hate candy corn). I think it could be tweaked a bit late winter/early spring for St. Patrick's day. It reminded me a lot of cereal, specifically the non-marmallow parts of lucky charms. It smelled like it too.

Nice brewery.

We were in town for a visit for a couple of days and thought their beers were good. We came in on a Thursday evening during their bingo so the whole place was really there for that…and drinking beer, of course.

The staff seemed a little distracted, but not negligent or anything. I ordered a crowler and was a little surprised when the total for a flight of 5 and the crowler was $35. Seemed a little more than what I’m used to. Not a big deal but probably should’ve asked before ordering.

This looked like a neat spot and we were excited to stop in, but were quickly disappointed. The bartender was not welcoming and barely acknowledged us. We asked what one of the beers on tap was like and our response we got was “it’s a beer”. He was clearly not interested in engaging with anyone. The bartender then proceeded to sit on a chair in the corner behind the bar on his phone, with his head down, pouring a drink for himself from the tap, etc and it made for an extremely disappointing experience.
