I have always been one who has tried to keep plants alive- with little success. About 6 months ago, I visited the Velvet Leaf by Anchored Wishes for the first time. When I walked in I instantly fell in love- I spoke with Sam, who helped me pick out a few plants for my office and educated me on how to care for them. Ever since that day- I have been addicted to their store- now my office and home are overflowing with plants, ALL of which I have been able to keep alive lol. This is my GO TO place for gifts. I love surprising family and friends with a custom bouquet that they can keep forever! There’s also a bunch of small local gift items in the store like candles, freeze dried candy, wall pieces, macrame items, and even small flower magnets. I love visiting their flower bar for a girls day where you pick different colored flowers and then get them beautifully arranged. I pretty much always take my out of town friends here to visit. Sam is knowledgeable and kind! Her prices are more than fair. Every plant I’ve bought from her has been healthy and is growing beautifully. One thing I really love is that she sometimes has clippings you can purchase! It gives me the opportunity to find dream plants that I can grow from babies myself! Her shop is clean and beautiful. She partners with other vendors in the area which I think is awesome! I LOVE going to her shop. Her and her husband are always helpful and eager to answer questions.
