Los Lagos — Restaurant in City of Cortland

My food was not very good, I ordered chicken suizas, these are not traditional suizas if that is what you are wanting, they were dried corn tortillas w dry chicken and green sauce on them, nothing like a suiza, but that was not really the issue. I brought it to our servers attention and she said oh we do things differently etc., then she asked the rest of my table how things were and left me with a plate of food I did not like. I expected her to ask me if I wanted something else etc., but nothing. Later when she came back and my plate was still full, I said to her, in future if someone tells you their food is not good or they are not satisfied, maybe attempt to fix it. The food was not her fault, that is the kitchen’s fault, but not attempting to fix it, is why she is our server. When I spoke to the manager she came up and was very rude and told me I should not have expectations. I did not want free food, i wanted something good and we could have just exchanged it for something less challenging. Good service can save...

This place was an absolute joke, the only redeeming quality was our waitress and she barely helped with anything. The food is an embarrassing joke to call mexican, and the prices absolutely do not match the quality. I had ordered the grande burrito and a chilli relleno, the burrito was a burrito nothjng special. While on the mean hand the chilli relleno was the worst food item ive put jn my mouth. My complaint was met with a sarcastic "oh well do you know what a chilli relleno is" and "well nobody else said it was bad" an absolute joke of an establishment. No refund was given and none of the pepper was added. You can get much more food with much better quality for cheaper at any other restaurant. Do not recommend at all. Everyone was very nice. The service was wonderful. Great atmosphere, very cozy (good place to go for a date night. The food is more tex mex than actually Mexican and a little on the blander side but that's usually what most people want and not something really spicy. The queso was very good.( most places get this wrong and make a spicy queso instead of it being something nice to cut through the spice, so I really appreciated their preparation )We got one of the lunch specials (the quesadilla and enchilada combo as well as the chicken taquitos with the queso cheese sauce.
