The food is absolutely perfect and the steak I had in my burrito was perfectly marinated. Issue is we had a sub-par waiter w poor service, one of us asked for extra cheese and did not get it, and the pitcher of margarita we got was weak and had barely any alcohol in it. Regardless, since the food is so good I would go again, just regular drinks and no special instructions.

It's OK. Pricey for Mexican food. The waiter didn't offer the sides that came with the dinner. When questioned, he said, "Well what would you want?" No apologies, then he never brought it nor packed it up to go. Also, no Mexican music, reggaton and Bachata. Rather go to "Margaritas" restaurant, for Margaritas, better Mexican food and mariachi.

Good food, waiter was nice and friendly, our water was refill without us having to ask. My steak fajita came sizzling it was good. The place is small but cozy. Now the parking lot is tiny so it is a bit of a hassle, but food was worth it. They have a mini bar with some chairs. #goodfood #Glencove

We came here for many years and almost always had a decent experience here, but our last visit was so disastrous that my wife and I will likely never return. It was a Sunday evening and we brought a guest with us from Italy. We were a party of five and were told we'd have to wait for about 10 minutes. Fine enough. After nearly 20 minutes, with no tables opening up in the main dining area, we were brought up to the tiny dining room upstairs where there were 4 empty tables. This must be their emergency overflow room. No view, and a slightly musty smell, but we were hungry so again, no biggie. A server took our order, all simple dishes, and soon after brought our drinks. Then we waited, and waited, and waited. 45 minutes after ordering, I went downstairs to find a server to make sure they didn't forget us upstairs. Our server acted as if I was bothering him and promised our food would be ready "in 10 minutes". We waited another 20 minutes and I went downstairs again. Again I was promised "10 minutes". We waited another 15 minutes and this time my wife went downstairs and spoke with the manager, who told her that they have a lot of Togo orders and that our food will be ready in, you guessed it, "10 minutes". Again, the time came and went. I decided to go downstairs and speak with the manager myself. He also told me they have a lot of Togo orders. I told him that we've been waiting for over an hour and a half, here, in their upstairs dining room, and fulfilling every Togo order before the order we placed over 90 minutes ago was beyond ludicrous. He didn't care at all, said that was their policy to make Togo orders before dining room orders, offered no apology, and acted as if we should just wait up there all night, so we left. I'm not sure why they've turned into this, but if this is how they run their restaurant now, they can do...

Came here with a coworker for a quick lunch. $7.99 got me some really good Chicken enchiladas with rice and beans. My coworker got the chicken quesadilla with guacamole and rice and beans. Portions were perfect. Complimentary chips were awesome.

Staff was attentive and friendly, coming out to check in on us and refill our water.

We chose to sit outside because it was a nice day but after looking a bit closer noticed that the tables and chairs were covered in dust, probably from the road.

I would definitely come back and either sit indoors or for pick up.

[EDIT] Very inconsistent service. If you wind up with the male server you never get the complimentary soup or salad during lunch, with the ladies you do.

I came here with 16 coworkers and made reservations ahead of time to make sure they could accomidate our party. When we arrived they didnt even have the reservation down, probably because we were the only people in the place.

Although the waiter took down our orders he messed up almost half of them. Not once did he ever come around to ask if everything was okay or if we needed refills.

I like the food but the employees here have a difficult time handling volume. I wouldn't suggest a party larger than 6 if you come here - just get take out and double check your order...

I have been dining at Puerto Vallarta for years for the food, atmosphere and service. My absolute favorite are the enchiladas suizas. I've travelled many places in the country and personally never found any that were even close to how delicious these are in my opinion. The rice and beans sides that accompany it are great too. The chips and salsa are also to die for. I also haven't yet found salsa that compares to the taste of Puerto Vallarta's. Recently I've come for lunch on the patio several times in nice weather and received the best service from Esperanza. She is sweet, thoughtful, attentive and mild mannered. She has been wonderful in helping my young child, which I really appreciate. The music playing is always great and the decor is so cute. Love the warm weather covered patio seating!

Over the years there were many times when I would get off the LIRR late and pop in for dinner. Food and service have always been great even when they are really busy or...
