On The Street Pitas — Restaurant in City of Ithaca

Visiting from out of town and stopped by to grab some takeout to bring back to our air bnb. Upon opening our meals (2 chicken pita and 2 fries) we almost immediately found our food to be inedible. The fries were burnt and clumped together so much that it was almost like they refried a large batch. The chicken was dry and the Tzatziki sauce tasted funky (as a person who grew up in a family owned Greek restaurant this disappointed me most). I only ate the olives, cucumbers and tomatoes. Personally, I wouldn't recommend this place as clearly their cook didn't care or have any pride in his work to serve this very disappointing meal to his customers. Sorry to have gotten this as a tourist of Ithaca. Quite frankly shocked at the 4.7 stars (as of this writing). The chicken pita was nothing special. Bland Tzatziki sauce, flavorless chicken, no zing in the Greek dressing.

Got fries with the pita, half of which were extremely burned and fused together, which is amazing to me as this is a good truck and I received my meal in less time than it takes to reheat fries in the microwave. (That means that they double dropped these fries, which you should never do, aka they batch cooked them).

Totally disappointing considering the price. The pita aren't even homemade, so far my dining experience in this city is...

They over charge! We were over charged by 5 dollars. The price increase they claimed couldn’t account for the price. Happened more than once. Other people I care about went there and the same thing happened to them. The menue says 8$ per sandwich then there is a tiny sign below that says 1$ increase on all items.
