Red Feet Wine Market & Spirit Provisions — Restaurant in City of Ithaca

Love Red Feet! Great tastings and helpful staff make it nice, but they go above and beyond. Twice I've tried placing a special order at other local "wine & liquor stores", and both times, Red Feet staff have been 10 times more helpful! Last X-mas I wanted a special bottle of Whiskey and never received a call back from one of the stores who had "put me on a list". When I followed up, I was told the "full time staff" would be checking into it that day and get back to me, but still never heard back. I called Red Feet, and had a call back within hours and the bottle of Whiskey the next day! Just this week, I called around because I needed a case of Celebre sparkling wine by this Friday and once again, never received a call back from the place that took my name and "put me on a list". The other place I called said they could have it by Friday, but Red Feet said they thought they could "tag it onto their order that was already placed", so I could have it Wednesday! NOW THAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Lesson learned - I'm calling Red Feet first...

I went there the other day to buy something sweet for me and my lady. But at the time they were having a event. I didnt know this until I was already in the store. I looked around and no one helped me and the people they were serving kept making racist and disrespectful remarks about me and African American people. It took every ounce of my being to not do or say anything. The staff didnt mind at all that these customers were saying these things. I dknt ever want to spend my money here knowing that they are comfortable having racist people just chill in their establishment. Makes me wonder about the staff as well. If I could I wouldn't even give this review...

Was there to pick up an instacart order and the older lady at the counter was not pleasant at all I asked for help finding a couple items and she told me I need to learn more about wine to do my job. Who says that to someone asking about wines ? Hello isn’t it her job to help people find things they like or might like. Nice place but horrible service.
