Summer's Best Ice Cream — Restaurant in City of Johnstown

Went here for the first time a year ago because I have heard so many great things. I can say I was NOT disappointed. I have not tasted ice cream that was so smooth and rich with flavor ever. The kids and the women that was inside we actually heard singing while they were making our sundae’s. They handed out our stuff and was smiling, we started joking walking back to the table and was thinking what is in this ice cream that made them sing and smile so much. It didn’t help us sing but we were smiling also it was great. We have been back many times always same great taste and they will customize anything. As always, the ice cream is great. Nice and creamy and plenty if it. There are plenty of flavors, combinations of flavors, and plenty of choices on how you want your ice cream--shakes, sundaes, flurries, cone, dish, etc. Employees are friendly and competent. Also the line went quickly. You know it's good when the drive-thru line is all the way around the parking lot because they know it's good ice cream. The line goes quickly because they have employees taking orders while people are sitting and waiting so when they get to the window to pay, it's ready for them. Eh, Place is ok, but not GREAT like how the town's people praise and that's a whole fact... service was mediocre, dull, rude, and I sensed a little bit of racial discrimination. Definitely had better ice cream and service in my home city. It just makes me laugh that everyone in that area and town is trying so hard to say this is the best place for ice cream in upstate New York when it's clearly not. Can we just quit playing pretend?? It is very obvious that the people of Fulton county New York have never had REAL and GOOD quality ice cream outside of their own cesspool of a county/town and it shows....
