If I could give a million stars for Joes Deli I would do it in a heartbeat. My friend and I stumbled warily into this warm inviting deli on a cold and snow filled thanksgiving morning. We had just winter camped in the Catskills and were looking desperately for a hot meal before the rest of the drive back. I had called 3 other delis and shops but all of them had closed for the holiday. When we tried to call Joe it was actually him who picked up and let us know he would be open today serving fresh, home style food for local elderly community members and stragglers without a thanksgiving meal to go to. We headed over and the cozy atmosphere, Joe and Denise’s friendly inviting smiles, and their willingness to engage with us in lovely conversation made the experience so beyond the perfection that was the food that Joe had cheffed up for us. Several locals came in while we were eating and all of them knew Joe on a first name basis, a testament to the cornerstone that Joe’s deli serves as for this charming Hudson valley town. Talking deeper with Joe he shared how he had recently opened this deli just in 2022 and how just like myself he had immigrated to this country from India! Joe is a superstar, this deli is my favorite ever (and I’m from Queens!), how more patriotic and thankful can I be on this thanksgiving day to walk into and enjoy the lovely cooking...

I have lived in Kingston for almost 5 years now. Joe’s deli is near my house and yet I’ve never gone inside. I also am someone who has been in search of the best Bacon, Egg, and Cheese in the Hudson Valley. I’ve had lots from all types of places. None never compare to NYC standard BEC. Today, after I voted (it’s Election Day), I decided to walk in for the first time and order a BEC. The person who made my BEC was very friendly and funny. As soon as I talked to him, I knew he knew what he was doing when it comes to making a BEC. While I was waiting, several people who were also waiting for sandwiches were raving to each other about the banana cream pudding that they also sold there. So, of course, I got that too. I walked home full of excitement! And when I got in my house, sat down, unwrapped my sandwich, and took that first bite, let me tell you.. Joe’s Deli 100% makes the best BEC in the Hudson Valley! My mind was absolutely blown. I will definitely be a reoccurring customer now. Please, if you can, go and try it! And get the Banana Cream Pudding, as well, because that was gone within minutes of its arrival to my house.

We were in New york antique shopping. We were super hungry and decided to google local deli's. Joe's Deli +Grocery had the best reviews and now I know why. We walked in and was instantly greeted with a smile from a gentleman behind the counter.He was super friendly.We picked what we wanted and he started making the sandwiches. I went with the roast beef, american cheese and horseradish mayo and pickles on the side, my husband got a turkey and cheese with bacon.The meat was boars head and was sliced fresh and the bread was fresh and soft and made the sandwich.The sandwiches came out quickly and WERE SO YUMMY 😋 If you are in the area of Kingston please stop in and try a sandwich!!!! We will be back if we ever take the trip from RI again.Thank you for an amazing sandwich and good...
