Mi Casita — Restaurant in City of Kingston

Racist teenagers sitting at a table at noon on a weekday so I'll assume skipping school, as well. I speak Spanish enough to understand ethnic slurs toward the only white people in the place. Very loud and obnoxious. Did I mention racist? TV was on Telemundo but the channel was non-stop tweaking/glitching so that noise was quite annoying. An employee's child was sitting at a table watching videos with an exceptionally loud smartphone. So far the atmosphere is atrocious.

We were finally addressed 15 minutes after sitting down and ordered two very simple dishes. EVERY SINGLE non-white person who came in after us was addressed, ordered AND served before I finally got up to ask (40 minutes later) where our food was. Several "no habla"'s later a guy came out from the kitchen asking us what we ordered. The girl we ordered from is of course no where to be seen. We realize that our order was non-existent so we bounced.

It was not busy but it was VERY selective in who got served.

I am all for supporting small businesses but tonight I unfortunately had a terrible experience. I was asked 10 times what I wanted and 10 times I stated what I wanted and it was still wrong when I got it. I ordered a torta with chicken and chorizo I got steak and chorizo I didn't make a fuss and attempted to eat it but it was gross. I was only aabl to take 2 bites my girlfriend's chimichanga was equally terrible no flavor. I asked for the bill expecting the torta to be taken off being that it was there mistake not mine. I brought it to the waitresses attention she then went into the kitchen and came back and said there was nothing she could do. Nothing worse than leaving a restaurant dissatisfied, hungry, and having to pay for it!!! Needless to say I would never step foot back in this establishment and you think the owner would have stepped out of the back and tried to correct the ssituatio.... zero...

Music and TV both played loudly throughout our meal despite requests to turn the TV down. Food was pretty bad and service was awful. We had to ask for everything from salsa to plates. When we began ordering we were told the only meat option was chicken but then it got wishy washy as we ordered. When the “fajitas” came, they included chicken, beef, and shrimp but no tortillas. When we asked for them, we got really thick ones (gorditas?) that were not suitable for fajitas. Chicken nachos had no chicken. Tacos were for my niece who has a gluten intolerance, so we double checked to make sure they would come with corn tortillas and were assured they would. They arrived with very white tortillas which the rest of us tasted. They were flour. Back they went. My niece ate rice and beans for dinner. $60 for dinner for 3 adults and a kid isn’t bad, but for the quality and service, you can find much better meals...
