Moonrise Bagels (Just the Stuffed) — Restaurant in City of Kingston

Moonrise Bagels' Kingston NY location is located within a little blue building on Broadway. It's pretty cute. Because of the size of the place, it is limited to take out only. Moonrise's claim to fame is their stuffed bagel. I'll attach a picture because it's easier to show rather than explain it. It must have taken quite a long time to figure out the boil/bake time for this creation. They have succeeded; it works. The bagel is thoroughly cooked and the contents, in my case, scrambled eggs, sausage, and cheese, were heated through but not overdone. Since the items are premade, the choices for your bagel are limited to Everything or Plain. The bagel also comes with a mayo/mustard sauce on the side, which was a tad too aggressive for my palate. I was delighted to hear that Moonrise was opening a location in my neighborhood! After first discovering their amazing bagels at their Woodstock location, I couldn’t wait to have them closer to home.
