Working on the area & having a rough morning, I was looking for a place to have brunch and after seeing all the great reviews, I decided to give it a try and I’m glad I did! I had an Apple Cider Mimosa that was so good, that I had to order another one to go. For brunch I ordered the Linh’s Banh Mi with chorizo & papas bravas and let me tell you I enjoyed every bite of it! Chef kiss 👌. The ladies up front were so nice & the vibe is warming & welcoming. We are SO fortunate to have Blacksmith's in our little West End neighborhood for countless reasons. The owners and staff are i n c r e d i b l e people. Even on the busiest days, they always make an effort to say hello and ask about life (all while never slowing down service). Just the kindest, realist folks. They make an effort to create sustainable food, support other small businesses, and continue to expand and make delicious meals, goodies, and drinks for all to love (and devour, let's be honest). We were introduced to Blacksmith's Bread at the Kennedy Plaza Farmers Market. Then again at the Farmers Market in Malverne, LI. Finally Blacksmith's Bread store opened up on Beech Street in the West End of Long Beach. It was a bit hard to find. Parking was impossible and they were out of the bread I wanted. I liked it better when it was at the markets in the summer. I think it is available at the enclosed shop in Malverne where Crossroads Farm was.
