This is one of the best places to eat in Long Beach, by far. It’s a cozy spot— about as small as it looks on the outside. The atmosphere is warm, almost like a memory from a cabin trip in the Catskills with your family as a child. Upon first glance, one might not predict the kind of meal you’ll have here. That being said, I’ve never had a bad meal here. If you’re into oysters, always get two of each. The Caesar salad is a must-order as well. The exceptional quality of the ingredients is always enhanced by Chef Alecia’s masterful, yet playful spin on her dishes. Steve’s textbook knowledge of wine and cocktails is definitely worth one of their few bar seats. Had a wonderful date night here. The restaurant itself is very cozy, and the decor is nicely placed. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming and we were seated right away.

We started with the raw oysters, which were very fresh. The cocktail sauce had some great taste to it. Then we moved on to the whitefish dip. Wonderful creaminess and robust flavor to it. The bread that came with it was fresh and was toasted to perfection. There was so much dip that we could have used a little more bread, but that wasn't a problem at all.
