I recently visited Lucca’s Delicatessen in Mechanicville, and I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming — clean, cozy, and staffed by genuinely friendly people who seemed to take pride in what they do. The service was prompt, attentive, and personable — the kind where you feel like a guest, not just a customer. The food was excellent. Their subs, build-your-own sandwiches, and cold cuts are crafted with care — generous portions of top-quality Boar’s Head meats and cheeses, fresh breads, and flavorful toppings. Everything tasted fresh and well balanced. I also tried their soup that day, and it stood out as hearty and satisfying without being overdone. This is food that hits the mark: comforting, delicious, and unpretentious. The location is ideal — easy to get to, easy to park, and visible. It’s the kind of spot you notice, which helps when you’re looking for somewhere reliable and inviting in the area. What really seals the deal is the value. The prices are very reasonable given the quality and portions. You get more than your money’s worth. In a world full of overpriced “gourmet” delis, Lucca’s delivers on both price and substance. In short: great food, great people, great location, and smart pricing. Whether you’re popping in for a quick lunch, doing a group order, or just looking for a solid deli in the area, Lucca’s Delicatessen should be on your list.

Havnt tried the food, but someone is going to get killed pulling out of saratoga ave. With the big pickups parked in the parking lot hanging out over the sidewalk into the road. Yellow that spot out so it's not dangerous to pull out

I had a hunch. This place was going to be good, so i drove back out of my way to stop in and give it a try. Great classic Italian delicatessen. I had the Italian mix in a sun-dried tomato wrap with hot pepper relish. Awesome!

I pre ordered a wrap for my lunch break showed up 32 min later and my small wrap still was not finished. The gentlemen behind the counter first said he forgot then when looking at my ticket he said he didn't make it because I wrote honey ham and honey turkey which there was no option to add that online.. to add it was 1$ more so he refused to make it because of a 1$ difference when I already paid extra for cheese and banana peppers which I said I would pay extra there was no option. I get that he wanted to double check but I pre ordered over 30 min and because of a situation over one dollar difference I didn't get to eat my lunch that I pre ordered so I could eat quick after a long meeting. Please fix your online option so that doesn't happen to people in the future. When I did attempt to take a bite the one side of the wrap was broke and...

*Edit: Lucca's has made things right. Very professional.

I searched Google which said they were open, I placed an order online, it let me and told me it would be ready today, 30-45 minutes after I placed the order. Except they are closed, maybe because Black Friday. Either way Google shouldn't tell me they are open, and the online ordering system should not let me place an order and charge me, for an order that isn't going to be fulfilled today, with no way to request a refund or cancel the order. Literally the only thing I can do is show up when they open the next day and say that I don't want the food anymore. That is a terrible flaw in the system and I would highly recommend working that out. Food is...
