Cruz Deli — Restaurant in City of Mount Vernon

Hands down best deli in Mt Vernon. Everything I've ever ordered was great. Delivery is super fast. They're open and deliver early mornings, the employees are always nice when you call in orders and the prices are great. Highly recommend trying them out you won't be disappointed.

Unfortunately all good things come to an end... When I call and the guy takes my order he is polite and my order is exactly as placed... When the female takes my order there's always something wrong. I've been obsessed with their Milano sandwiches for a while now along with a few of my coworkers. Last week I ordered one with no prosciutto and no balsamic on the sandwich and requested the house balsamic on the side. I got burnt chicken cutlet with bbq sauce which I'm allergic to on the sandwich and regular balsamic on the side... This week I tried again and got prosciutto on the sandwich and no balsamic anywhere. I checked the bag again for the balsamic because i was hungry and didn't want to just throw it out and saw the post it and it said no pro and no balsamic so she wrote it correctly minus the balsamic on the side.. It was a good 2 year run but I need to take a break and stop wasting money on food I throw...

It's the best deli in Mt. Vernon. Staff is always accommodating and the food is the best. The delivery guys are always fast and friendly. My advice is to go try it and find out for yourself. You won't be let down. Try the Pete's wrap or the chicken...
