Rebecca's Café — Restaurant in City of New Rochelle

I have eaten at Rebecca's Cafe many times over the past year and some change. I was first pulled in by their amazing Mexican food. I've tried their burritos, tacos, nachos, and quesadillas and all of the meat options on each. Everything was very good, but I think my favorite is the al pastor, which is just so delicious texturally and full of flavor. About 6 months into eating here I started getting into their breakfast options and I wish I did sooner. They take the title of Cafe quite seriously and their breakfast options are just as good as the rest of the menu. I particularly liked their breakfast burrito and egg and cheese sandwiches, and these come at prices that are a lot better for what you get than most of the surrounding breakfast options. I'm not really a person to comment on restaurants, but this place blew me away. The people who serve you are very friendly, I really liked the place, it is very clean, and the decoration is incredible, they have the best tacos, and the best molotes that I have ever tasted in my life, and the best of all is. "THE PRICE". So if you are craving for Mexican cuisine; I recommend this place. For those rainy afternoons, a sweet bread with coffee or an atol. OMG I love it! I live in the bronx and I drive 30 min to enjoy all the delights of this place. If you come by public transport it is like 54min. it's really worth it. Not the best value for almost fifty bucks. Now, that COULD be okay if the fixings were choice but nope! The burrito was meh... The quality of ingredients were meh... The flavors were meh... and the things were tiny.

So 2 stars. Minus 1 for being way overpriced. Minus one more for having bland flavor and cheap ingredients. Minus 1 more for still being hungry afterwards!

So, the other option was Chipotle. We decided to support local business. We will continue looking for the local 🌯 burrito 🌯 spot to enjoy, instead of Chipotle. This ain't it! 😂 At least Chipotle has a consistent flavor profile, excellent portions, good ingredients, and a better value.
