The Betty — Restaurant in City of Newburgh

Our only issue with the entire place is that the owner refused to ever even acknowledge that we existed. I don’t know if she’s racist or she’s discriminatory against people with tattoos, but we go in there at least every other week because we like the bartender. He’s very attentive and very nice And extremely friendly. But the owner has yet to even say hi to us or even acknowledge that we existed. She has seen us over six times and has yet to even thank us for coming to her restaurant. We will never go back because we will never be treated that way again , I don’t know what her problem is. I don’t know if she’s got some personal mental issues going on but we were regular customers spending $100 a night and she could not even come up to us and shake our hand or say thank you for coming to her bar. It’s sad because we like the place, but we will never go back to give business to somebody like that who could not even acknowledge that we are even there. It’s a shame for the bartender because he is an amazing guy, but we will not be treated like that by the owner of an establishment. We are complete travelers and foodie people and we have been to hundreds of bars and hundreds of restaurants across the country and we have never encountered this type of disrespect , and this type of lack of appreciation for us being customers. She must be having a terrible life or a terrible day every day, but we will never be back. Don’t waste your time. There’s plenty of other bars...
