The Shores Waterfront Restaurant — Restaurant in City of North Tonawanda

First time here, crazy because we are local to the restaurant, we went on a week day, the weather was amazing, needed the breeze after being 95 for two days straight

This was the Picture Perfect Spot

We walked up, and we were Greeted, friendly and professional, we had no Reservations But probably would need them on a weekend.

We were asked where we would like to be seated.

That was very nice! We decided on a spot It was clean and nice to be outside.

We were brought a menu right away And asked about drinks The staff was very polite and patient while we said we were never there before.

We ordered drinks they arrived fast within 8 mins. We Looked over the menu

It was a nice menu, not too much to get overwhelmed over

We both ordered our food It took about 25 mins Not long at all Nice

The dishes were blackened chicken pasta And the blackened Salmon with potatoes and green beans

Let me say this. The food was amazing! The chicken was not dry ,or over cooked. The sauce was perfect not dry pasta The bread was decent size

The salmon was perfect, cooked perfectly Not under cooked , definitely vacuumed sealed , Because it was not fishy or old frozen!! The potatoes ,were cooked with a lemon sauce I believe, it was really tasty! Both dishes : We're large portions Well done

We had a amazing waitress named Katie She was professional and we enjoyed her conversation. Very kind and happy to serve us Frankly all the staff we seen Was profyand genuinely seemed happy with their jobs we noticed it.

The water front it amazing If you looking for a nice quiet get away from the city by the river this is a great spot

And worth the price

We had paid twice as much for food at higher places around western New Yorkand got less food

Rude & Nasty staffI went out to the shores for dinner & entertainment with a friend & her husband last night. The Rig was awesome. After waiting almost 2 1/2 hrs. We got to the table - around back walking with a walker & disrupting at least 10 other patrons’ meals so I could walk over rocks to get to a table that could hardly see the band with the sun in your eyes. As I can’t walk well, get double vision from the sun & had REQUESTED, went back to the waitresses & told them the seat was too sunny. I am disabled & could not sit in the hot sun & had told them, WHEN we got on the list several hours earlier, that started screaming at my friend. I had not gotten there yet cause everyone had to move for me to walk there with a walker. I tried to talk to them when I got there & didn’t get 3 words out before the manager started yelling at me. We had already waited an additional half hour looking at 5 empty tables in the location we had requested now close to 3 hours prior ! When this was mentioned to the staff, the rude manager was brought to us bitching & screaming she’s calling the police. Talk about RUDE. We left as we are now starving & looking for fun -NOT DRAMA - Won’t be wasting my time trying to have a fun night out there again. We always have a great time there. We were there on Saturday July 18th, as usual we had a great time with one exception. When we arrived we told our waiter that we had some friends joining us later After we finished eating(yet still drinking and spending money) He told us we might have to leave the table, and I asked why and he responded that other people might want to sit down. A while later the host came over and told us the same thing. I asked her to get the manager if they wanted us to move. The Manager came over and I explained to him what the waiter and host had told me. He assured us we could sit there as long as we want to. I later learned from others that were there and have been there in the past had the same thing happen to them, when they had the same waiter. So if you go to Shores to have a good time make sure you DO NOT get the male waiter. After we received our bill and I paid with a very nice tip, the waiter came and got the bill and never said thanks, have a goodnight, or anything. He should not be in the customer service field. I will continue going to Shores because of the great management and the rest of the good employees other than the Male waiter...
