Best to avoid on Friday and Saturday nights!!

Short-staffed. Waited 1.5hrs for our food with no comp or courtesy for the long wait. -We arrived at 6 at our reservation time and was asked to come back. No problem. We returned and placed our order at 6:30.

Our food arrived at the table at 7:30. I had asked my guests to wait just 5 more minutes or I’d ask where our food was (not ideal, I’m not confrontational) but it arrived at 7:34. Unfortunately, the steak had to be redone, our server said it was burnt.

Normally LOVE their food but tonight they burned 3 of the 6 meals (steak on the salad was sent back, there were burnt chunks in the curry (not inedible, just not up to their normal standards), and the burger bun was burnt.)

No condiments with the burger. The chairs are so uncomfortable, especially when you’re there for 2.5 hrs.

Cigarette smoke- well that’s free…The front door was open and all we could smell was smoke bellowing in from outside. Not their fault, just made the experience unpleasant for us.

I haven’t given up on the Autumn cafe yet because I truly hope they can turn this place back around. One of our guests loved their meal. It was one of the best restaurants in the area! My advice to the owner is to return to the little things that increase hospitality and the overall experience. Not fighting with their customers on Google reviews lol. Bread for the table. An appetizer or drinks on the house if you’re over an hour late. You can’t always help being short-staffed but you can make a difference on someone’s birthday night with small gestures. They did serve our birthday girl champagne when we left however. It was just a little rough for...

We made reservations. Went as soon as they opened not as many people then. The outdoor seating area is gorgeous. Everything on the menu was definitely unique. I felt a bit like they were reaching a bit far with some of the combinations. Trying to be bougie. My company and I ended up ordering: 1.)House Braised Brisket Sandwich. Harissa brisket, blueberry slaw, guajillo coffee jus, brioche bun, friesor chips 2.)Fried Chicken Sandwich Chicken thigh, collard greens chowchow, mayo, brioche, fries or chips 3.)B.L.T. House-made cafe wheat bacon, lettuce, tomato, sun dried tomato aioli, fries or chips House 4.) Beef Burger Bibb lettuce, tomato, onion, brioche bun, fries or chips 5.)Shrimp & Grits Anson Mills corn grits, fennel, creamy sausage & pepper gravy, shrimp. The braised brisket sandwich. Tasted like a piece of fatty flavorless pot roast. My entire bottom bun was wet ,soggy and inedible. The blueberry slaw on it was surprisingly flavorless as well. It didn't taste sweet at all. The Fried chicken sandwich came out extremely hot. Waited for it to cool before could eat. The outside was flavored well and very crispy thick battered. It crumbles off extremely easy with every bite though. Leaving you with a over dried piece of chicken. Also the chow chow on the chicken sandwich tasted yucky and out of place. The burger was a burger. The BLT was ok. The shrimp and grits upset my friends stomach. She was in th bathroom for over ten minutes before we left and didn't finish or take home the rest of her meal. The atmosphere is great the staff...

I have eaten here with my friends and family a myriad of times. Each time the food has been absolutely superb. Expertly cooked to perfection each and every time.

Coming from Manhattan I’m always weary of smaller restaurants that have such culturally eclectic menus and specials. But the Autumn manages to execute each and every item I have dared to try with a tremendous amount of respect and accuracy.

This place really is a hidden gem amongst some already pretty good restaurants in the area and I urge anyone reading this to step in and try to push their comfort zone. Go try that thing your unsure about, do it, order it.

Some reviewers are finding issues with pricing, I do not feel this is the case whatsoever. The experience you get is 100% worth the price of even the highest end things I have tried.

From their high end specials like Lobster Risotto to more casual classics like their BLT you’d be hard pressed to not find something here to hit the spot. Elegant, cleanly executed classics and specials paired with great friendly service make this an amazing spot for a family gathering, special occasion, date night or even just ordering a Chicken Sandwich to wolf down in between meetings. I very much look forward to my...

If you want one of the best cocktails in town, head to Autumn! Their drinks strike a great balance of flavor and strength—definitely no weak pours here. Some of my personal favorites are the prickly pear margarita, PB whiskey coffee, and the blueberry Moscow mule. The service is generally friendly, though it can get a bit slow when things are busy. I always try to stop in when they have a salmon special—it’s delicious and honestly deserves a permanent spot on the menu! That said, I’ve found some of the other food items to be hit-or-miss in terms of preparation (undercooked), quality and flavor. I’m glad this place does well—it really feels like a community staple! I also appreciate that it's one of the few spots in town with a proper patio. One highlight this year was their Galentine’s Day event, which I enjoyed with a group of girlfriends. Despite the hectic evening and multiple rounds of staggered drink orders, the service was absolutely on point! Overall, Autumn is a solid choice whether you're grabbing cocktails, enjoying a night out, or looking for a local favorite with a great vibe!
