This has been a Long Time Favorite with My Husband and I, and we go here probably Once every Three-Four months or so. If you want some Really Good, Fairly Priced Sushi- Come Here! They have Decent Deals, like our Personal Favorites, the Lunch Special Bento Box. (Pictures Below) The Vegetable Rice is AMAZING. My Husband Likes the Chicken, both Very Good Options. Super Hot when it came out- which we appreciate Greatly! The Miso Soup was Fresh and Appetizing! And didn't get you full like all the other meals do. It came out Immediately! Our Server, Weni? I think she said her name was? Was VERY Courteous, Kind, and Sweet. She Was Very On the Ball and We appreciate her SOOO Much! Thank you! She was Very Accurate when completing our Order, and left my Husband and I, Very Satisfied! They do serve Alcoholic Beverages such as Wine, and Beer. The Volcano Roll is Delectable!! The Tempura Is Pretty good. The Raw Rolls I tend to stay away from on a Hot, New York Day... (who wouldn't?) But otherwise, are crunchy, and good. The place seems to always be fairly busy every time we go in there. However it does stay Maintained and Clean! On Nights it's really busy, it gets pretty Noisy! They are Diligent workers, and We always seem to enjoy ourselves every time we go! We Also Leave with a Few Boxes! In the past, there has been a few Times I have left a little disappointed... (Loose Rolls and Long Wait times that exceeded 30 minutes on Pickup Arrival) but these last few times, they have redeemed themselves and I understand everyone has bad days! I Really Appreciate how the workers will tell you, "It costs $0.00 to ADD _____" No Hidden Prices ;) Overall: Speedy, Tasty, and Friendly! The Parking is Definitely a Problem... ------------------------------------------------------ My Recommendations: * Lunch Bento Box Special! -Decent Price and Value! *Vegetable Rice/Miso Soup/Garden Salad *Volcano Roll! ------------------------------------------------------ Pros: *Decently Priced Rolls *Friendly Service with a Smile *Food is Fresh and Hot...Yum! *They serve Alcohol *Authentic Food and Inviting Environment Cons: *They serve Alcohol *If you been there too Long, you may feel Pressured to Leave. *Scarce Parking

This was our third visit to Tokyo Japanese Cuisine. The first two visits set a high bar with outstanding food, but our third visit was a stark contrast. All three times I ordered the exact same Super Bento Box. It has my favorite combination of Sushi, Sashimi, and Tempura. It's a dish I consistently enjoyed. This time, however, it arrived incomplete, missing a key item that was clearly present in both the menu's picture and description, and included during my last two visits. When I brought this to the waitress's attention, attempting to clarify the discrepancy with the menu as reference, her response was unexpectedly confrontational. She raised her voice, insisting I was incorrect despite the clear evidence. The difficulty of communicating through a language barrier, combined with the distraction of a screaming child at the next table, left me no choice but to simply accept the incorrect order. Unfortunately, the dining area is small and there were screaming children each time we've gone. Not noisy, but running around and screaming. Similarly, my husband's order of hot and spicy chicken was incorrectly served as sweet and sour chicken. He is a spicy food lover and was disappointed to receive the wrong food. After observing how I was treated, he decided it wasn't worth the trouble and quietly ate what he received. It's truly unfortunate and unprofessional to be scolded by staff when they are the ones who made the error. They have lost us as repeat customers. I understand that mistakes are made, but scolding the patron rather than fixing the error is highly unprofessional.

Tokyo is a solid spot for sushi deals, especially their lunch specials and bento boxes, which offer good value. It's not city-level quality, but it satisfies the craving. My go-tos are the spicy California, Alaskan, salmon & avocado, and cucumber rolls. The miso soup and side salad are decent, and the hot sake is worth trying. That said, service can be slow and a bit unfriendly, and the restaurant itself could use some attention to cleanliness—there were soy sauce stains on the walls, sticky floors, and the bathrooms weren’t as clean as I’d hope for. Staff don’t check back often once you’re served. Due to all these factors, I won't dine in but will order take out on occasion. However, I know my coworkers order takeout here frequently and enjoy it.

I really adore this place! Being a very picky eater in general, I was definitely hesitant to try sushi in upstate NY. However, I'm so glad I did! The fish tastes fresh and all of the food is GOOD- comparable to high end Japanese restaurants where i'm from (long island). Rolls are a decent size; usually 8 individual piecses are included per roll. Employees are friendly and have a positive attitude. Even when they're busy on a Friday night, they put their all into making a positive experience for their customers. Presentation is lovely! Last but not least, the prices are impossible to beat....! I suggest trying a bento box: you get to choose 2 rolls and it comes with a soup, salad and miniature volcano roll, all for $10. There are also lots of other combination boxes to choose from for a good price. If you're craving sushi in this area, this is the...
