Bruegger's Bagels — Restaurant in City of Rochester

If I could leave a zero review, I would do so. I placed an order on their website to pick up a brunch box. I went 25 minutes later to pick up the order only to be told by a very rude front desk lady that they don’t have any bagels ready so they can’t give me the order and they’re going to have to cancel the order. I was on my way to a meeting to give this to coworkers and I was counting on this order. When I placed the order online, it asked for my email and phone number. I told them they could have called me to tell me this sooner and not wait for me to come in person. She said they don’t get the customer’s contact info. What’s the point of asking for email and phone number on their website if they will tell you later they don’t have that information!? Plus this was a total waste of time. Finally, they wouldn’t even let me get a refund int he store, I was told I need to go to the “app” and ask for a refund. I didn’t order through the app, I ordered online and shouldn’t have to make an extra step to get a refund if it’s...

Editing my original review because they got rid of my favorite. The asiago cheese bagels used to come with the center hole full of cheese. This is no longer the case. I’m not sure why that is. I was told it’s because the bagel has a hole in it, a concept I was very aware of already, though I’m sure that person didn’t mean to sound condescending. It’s interesting that 3 to 5 times a week for the last six months every single asiago cheese bagel I got from this location had the center full of cheese. Maybe the hole in the bagel got bigger? Not sure, on the bagel I had it looked like it had been dug out because there was suddenly no cheese near the center of the hole. In any event, if anyone knows any bagel places (besides Tim Hortons) that still offer traditional asiago bagels please...

The worst experience I’ve had here ever.

We walked in and stood there for a minute watching the 2 people work behind the counter, my boyfriend simply asked them how they were doing today and he got a snippy response from the employee telling him he’ll be right with us. We then stood there watching the MISERABLE employees interact, when another employee came out and was given attitude by the female employee who stormed out back. Not too much long after, another female employee opened the back door, saw all the people waiting in line and quickly shut it.
