I'm not one to write negative reviews because I'm upset but so far get caked has been beyond disappointing. I understand the pandemic has made us changed and how business run but the recent behavior from your employees has been disgusting. I don't order enough for my money to hurt this business but I will no longer support you. Here is why. I sent an email, well in advance for a cake and cupcakes. I didn't want anything special really and received no response. When I called to ask if it will be completed by today 6/26/21, I was told that only the boss gets the emails. Cool, then the boss needs to tell people that their emails will go to a void. Then when I was on the phone, dictating my order (I emailed because it was too much), I heard an employee complaining about someone waiting and was upset that the person that was on the phone with me was not "dealing" with the customer. This employee was too annoyed to deal with her job. I shrugged it off as maybe a bad day. Then today happened where my husband went to pick up our order and the cake had the wrong name. It was an easy fix turning V to L. They took the cake in the back and the person that took it complained all the way that the sheet said "Dave" and not "Dale". OK, the mistake happened when the guy wrote it down or misheard me. Whatever the case was, the fix was easy and she complained the whole time taking the cake to fix it. If this is how you plan to run your business and have your employees act, we will no longer spend money. I will gladly take my $136 and spend it elsewhere.

Read moreI’ve been thinking about posting for a while but I think it’s important to know. Leading up to our wedding, communication was slow, but responsive. The cupcakes we tried were delicious and we were so excited to have delicious wedding cake! Kelly reassured us the cake would be exactly what we wanted. The night before the wedding while I was enjoying the rehearsal dinner, Kelly emailed and called my cell to leave a voicemail to tell me FOR THE FIRST TIME that she didn’t have our credit card on file from when we originally made the down payment. She indicated that if we didn’t pay by 8am she wasn’t delivering our cakes!!! Are you kidding me?!? What a bomb to drop on someone the night before their wedding??? So, I sent her my CC information immediately. No response. I dug through my email to make sure I didn’t miss an email from a week, a month, three months— something? No such luck. It was never communicated the card we used for down payment was not on file! The morning of my wedding I was forced to call and she said she didn’t see the email. She looked harder and it was there. Totally insane. You’d think a professional would be like “crap, I made a mistake. I’ll get payment later since they used us for other events, I know they won’t flake.” Or calmly leave a voicemail without the repercussions of no cake!

Read moreThis is one of the worst experiences i’ve had. I ordered a cake here for my birthday. My boyfriend picked it up and when he showed me i honestly thought it was a joke. To start off the base colors are COMPLETELY different, second of all the flowers look nothing like the photo. When i placed The order the owner informed me that she could not do the fondant flowers but they could be piped on which i was fine with because you can still make the flowers look similar but clearly they aren’t. Third, the flowers clearly go all around the cake in the example photo i sent. The cake i received had 6 flowers with huge gaps in between. The owner tried telling me that because of the size of the cake there could not be more flowers added in which is not true. You can clearly see room for at least 2 more flowers and if that was the case why didn’t you mention it when i ordered it? Fourth, in the example photo there are not hearts added at the bottom of the name, but with mine there is. Why? i did not ask for that and it just makes it look sloppy( i literally thought it was a w). Fifth, this was the most driest cake i’ve had in my entire life. The owner basically told me she can’t do anything because i never said anything at pickup (my boyfriend picked it up) and because i never brought it back that day (they were closed an hour after my boyfriend picked up the cake) Save your money and go to a bakery that actually cares about the cakes they make and their customers.
