My son called in to order a OG Trasher plate from this place and I came in to pick it up, as I have done before. I used Apple Pay to pay for the order. While I’m paying on the iPad provided the cashier wants to ask me about my Rhode phone case and if it was designed to fit lipgloss in it and various other questions (personally I appreciate professionalism and friendliness but I prefer silence for the next reason) I completed the transaction and it processed for 14.04 and I spun the iPad back around. I was provided no receipt for the transaction. Two days later I get a notification that the transaction was finalized for 114.04. I called the store immediately but they were closed for the weekend. The following Monday I call and spoke to woman who identified herself as the owner’s sister. I explained the situation to her and her response was that she didn’t know if they could give me my money back. Then it went to “I don’t know how we would give you your money back” then it progressed to blaming me for adding 100.00 tip on an order that was 14.04. I was not waited on. I did not sit in to eat. I specifically made sure that I tapped for 14.04. She goes on the say that “her employee would not…”. I asked if she was the owner, she stated that she was not. Made perfect sense because she doesn’t make decisions like someone who carries the liability of a business. I asked her to speak to the owner in which she said “I’ll look into it and reach back out to you”. I had to ask her for a timeframe in which she replies “today”. 72 hours later and I have not received a call or my money back. I called again and they are closed for the holiday. Once again without so much as a follow up call to rectify the situation. She was rude and defensive and consistently talked over me during the conversation and was dismissive of the issue at hand. So at this point I’m moving forward with legal action because clearly I’m not getting anywhere with...
Read moreZero stars from the University of Rochester. We wouldn’t know how the food is because they cancelled their food truck on the University of Rochester TWICE with no notice. These were pre-scheduled lunches with this food truck. The first time they no-showed without any warning and said we were supposed to confirm after we had already confirmed a month prior. This left dozens of nurses, doctors, and staff with no lunches.
The second time they said to make sure to confirm with them one week prior. We have been calling, leaving voicemails and emails for one week with no answer.
Finally one day before the food truck is supposed to come we get through to the owner and we state we are calling and have been calling for a week to confirm. He states that they are cancelling. He also states that another employee should’ve called to cancel. Well they NEVER DID. He had the email addresses and phone numbers of the staff organizing this and he could’ve emailed or called us to cancel but none of us have any missed calls or emails so we know he just never did.
Once again our staff is left with no lunches and we are scrambling trying to make sure to reach out to everyone to bring their own lunch. How do you run a business this way? Why not tell us a week or a month ago?? Clearly you are having issues with staffing, professionalism, and the ability to communicate to your community. We work tirelessly in this medical institution to provide to our patients and we try to have fun lunches once in awhile and now have been left high and dry by this Stingray Sushifusion twice. The University of Rochester will not be using this...
Read moreToday I went here for the first time ever! I told the lady at the counter I don’t eat any meat at all. She suggested me something but I did glance at the menu and seen the word steak. I told her no steak. I also order sushi. When I got it I proceeded to eat the sushi but it taste like it was meat in it. I went online and seen it had bacon. I was very upset because I told the lady at the register I didn’t eat meat at all and she could’ve warned me! They did exchange my sushi after I told them. Cool. Then I get home and opened my plate it’s bacon all over it!! $44 down the drain! I take partial blame because I should have read the menu But I asked for suggestions! Clearly from someone who didn’t know they own menu!! I could’ve went to Taco Bell for less the hassle.
It looks good but I don’t eat meat what so ever!!
. With all due respect you yelled at me to read the menu ! After I told you your cashier suggested an item!! And I did not leave part out, it says you exchange my sushi. I was still out of my lunch!! Full of meat. Your attitude wasn’t worth coming back again. Let be honest!!...
