So, overall I absolutely think everyone should check this place out. The owner was so nice and friendly and welcoming to my friends and me. I will leave a review about my personal experience. The space is great. Itās low key and overall a nice place to want to have some wine and wind down after a long week. The 2 things that bothered us was the live music and the food portions. The saxophonist that was great but the music was so loud. My 2 friends and I wanted to chat and catch up and couldnāt do so without having to yell because we couldnāt hear each other. That takes away from the low-key vibes. We couldnāt sit further away because there was a group of us and the only tables farther away were for two people, and we had three. We asked to have the music turned down and they did turn it down for a little, but it didnāt really help it back up at the same volume anyway. Anyone borrow Iāve ever been youāre able to sit and converse and enjoy the wine and food so I would love it even if there is live music thereās a way to like balance it out with the atmosphere so people can talk. For the food portions, the fries were a good enough portion, but I ordered a flatbread pizza and I agree with one of the other reviews that it was like a very small portion like almost for a kid. It was delicious though. I also ordered a full size charcuterie board and it was also pretty small and this is little bit like there wasnāt any meat on it like pepperoni or salami or something. But everything that was on the board was tasty. The crackers and cheeses were good. Everything was good and the cheesecake I thought it was a good touch, but I feel like you like you should be able to share it between three people and we did share it. Itās just that I couldāve easily eaten that by myself. It still looked personal sized. The wines were delicious. I do wish there was like a tasting option or the ability to order a flight, but thatās a small thing. I think the music volume was probably our biggest issue if Iām at a club or a bar Iām expecting to not be able to like hear people talking too well and you have to lean in to hear them talk but add a wine bar and specifically like when the atmosphere gives a low-key type of vibe then youāre expecting low-key and youāre expecting to be able to chill and talk and you know everything like that. I still think that people should check this place out. I just think that itās a super cute space and the people there were all very nice very friendly and who knows, it could be different on other nights. Thatās my first time going and I would absolutely try to check it out again, and see...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt pains me to write bad reviews for small owners but when one is made to feel like an inconvenience to the restaurant and you're spending good money there then I'm sorry I have to say something. Firstly don't treat your patrons like they could potentially be dine and dashers. Most normal restaurants allow you to pay AFTER the meal because if we had known the sub par service level we would have given a Zero $ tip. Instead you made us pay for our food and drink upfront and we did right by adding a tip but you didn't deserve it. If you're worried about dine and dashers then implement a policy whereby you hold onto the card like most bars do when you keep a tab open. Next, I'm not sure what type of vibe you're trying to achieve, is it Upscale Wine bar or Low Key chilled Bar because it's confusing. The food came at least 90 mins after we ordered it. It was tasty enough but way too expensive. For $13 at other restaurants you get at least a midsized flat bread, what we got was a mini pizza for a toddler. The look on all our faces when we saw the portion sizes was one for the books. We were given no extra plates, silverware and no napkins. When we asked for napkins the two very young girls who brought our food looked at us like we were asking for Egyptian thread cloth napkins. They came back out with, I kid you not, TWO paper towels for 8 people! This is not a joke. We literally tore it up into eighths because we didn't want to ask again. There were more of these types of weird interactions that led to me believe this place exists to serve the friends of the owners because the experience we had was not welcoming nor professional. I hope you read this and instead of getting angry take notes and remember that nowadays it's expensive to eat out and people want a great experience because there are many other places we could have gone to but chose to...
Read moreI been wanting to visit this place for a long time, finally yesterday i decided to go, have some drinks and eat something. As i walk in im looking around see who is going to received us. I see a person sitting in a booth with her phone. I approch her and ask her if we had to sit or if she is going to give us a table. She is looking at her phone, not making eye contact and tells me they were having a special event and entry was 15$. I explained her i didnt knew that it was our first time there and she is just looking at the phone, playing some kind of game like candycrush or something⦠at that moment i decided to just leave and go somewhere else. It was not about the 15$ entry, is about how you treat your customers. If she would had treat me different i would have stayed but the person was not paying attention or explaining what event they were having. Just the attituted of yeah is 15$ for entry. Its rude and i feel sad because i really wanted to try this place. It have amazing reviews but that was my experience last night. Hopefully next time, they are more welcoming to the people walking...
