Alright, I drove here after seeing something online. Parking was miserable if you don't know the city with the construction going on in the front. I DID NOT order ahead walked in, ordered, and ended up getting a ticket because I only paid for a half hour of parking cuz it's just tacos right? I ordered 3 tacos and they took 46 minutes. I contemplated walking out many times. I really missed good tacos and I read the reviews and it seemed like it was worth it. Gotta tell you they ARE worth it. I'm not sure if I'll ever be back and I wish this business the best of luck since their food is delicious. It seems like most comments are about wait time. There was a guy in front of me worrying about getting fired from his job because his break ended up being 2+ hours instead of a half hour and he had spent an hour waiting for his 30 tacos which he said he ordered at 11am and was told to pick up at 1pm (I hope he doesn't get fired) in the middle of his breakdown he cried out, "it's just tacos". I agree, there are places that have figured out how to make good tacos quick (not in Rochester though) if you can only make 33 tacos in an hour ($148.50) idk what to say about your business model. I tried my best to not write a totally negative review since I loved the food but I don't know if I would ever want to come back it was an emotionally...

Marco and his mother are some of the kindest, most hard working folks you’ll ever meet, and they make the best food you will ever have, bar none. The Al Pastor is to die for. Their tortillas are unlike anything I’ve ever had before. The sopes are unbelievable. They run specials every once in a while that will blow your socks off, like the birria tacos or shrimp empanadas. Seriously, the best food ever.

PLEASE have patience. They work so hard and the food is absolutely worth the wait. There is a parking lot around the corner on Exchange, put in a couple extra bucks and come hungry, or order ahead if you need to. I have seen a few people who were rude about the wait time. Don’t be one of those people. Everything comes out fresh, hot, and made to order.

We love you,...

What an incredible place! This is truly an authentic restaurant for sure. I came here with a group of friends for Cinco De Mayo and it was well worth our time. Many of the reviews talk about the tacos, but it's also worth your time to ask about the Daily Special. The only complaints I'd have about it is that it takes a long time to get your food. I will say there also isn't much seating. The establishment can't really fit groups bigger than 4 people at one table so be aware of that. Everything is made to order though, and there aren't many people working there to begin with. It's more than understandable that the food takes a long time. Additionally, they take great care to make sure your food is as excellent as can be! Despite it's flaws I cannot recommend this...

Overall this is a great Mexican restaurant run by a lovely mother and son team. Because it’s just two people doing everything, things take a bit of time. That said, the corn tacos, quesadillas & sopes are very well made, solid crispy without being dense. The beef & chicken tacos & beef quesadillas were the best. The chicken & veggie sopes were good too although not so big a fan of the black bean sauce & they’re difficult to eat. Looking forward to trying some of their specials sometime.

Best Mexican food you'll find in Rochester, hands down. Everything is made with love and care. The food is authentic, and the people are authentic and gracious. The food is lovingly scratch made to order, so bring your patience. Trust me, it's worth the wait. Marco and his lovely mother Minerva use family recipes and are wonderfully accommodating, even for vegan and vegetarian diners. If you love Mexican food, add this place to your rotation. Rochester is lucky to have them.
