I've been ordering from Little Venice for the last few years now and frequently enough where the voice on the other end of the phone knows me and my regular order from my voice. I've never had a problem until tonight. Keep in mind that as of this moment, it is about five degrees outside. While on another call, I saw that the delivery guy was calling me after I had ordered a pizza about 45 minutes prior. I got up, went down to my front door, opened it, and no one was there. I go back inside. I get another call about five minutes later. Still on the phone, I go back to my front door and open it. Again, no one is there. I go back inside again. Finally, my call ends so I call the delivery guy back. He says he was in my driveway honking (I didn't hear it), left when I didn't come down, and that he's on another delivery and will stop back. Twenty minutes later, my phone starts ringing. I go down to the front door. No one is there. I call the delivery guy back several times. No one picks up. Annoyed, I call the shop itself and ask for a manager. The manager comes on the phone telling me that the problem is me, that I wasn't opening my door, yelling at me when I corrected him, then hanging up on me. ............................................................................................................................................................................................................................. At this point, I'm no longer paying for my pizza and I'm never ordering from this place again. However, I call the shop back and tell the girl that answered the phone who I am, what I've experienced, that there's no way I'm paying for my pizza, and I'm never ordering from them again so they don't bother delivering it. Her response is "oh, we already ate your pizza. I won't deny that Little Venice's pizza is okay, but this level of service is beyond piss poor. How a company treats its customers is far more important to me than the quality of its product. I've ordered from this place before and not had an issue. I trusted that I would get a call or hear the buzzer. They told me it would be 50 min tops. No sweat. So I started playing video games. I lost track of time after a while and didn't think about when I had called. I just knew I was getting hungry. So when I finished my last game, I decided to call them. They told me they had called multiple times and and resent the food out. Not once did I receive a call a text or even hear the buzzer ring. The pictures below are proof that I got nothing. Then they started getting really rude and refused to send me any food. I didn't ask for anything free and I didn't get actually mad until they told me they wouldn't send it out. I deliver pizzas for a living so Im pretty understanding. I was willing to not make a big deal out of it. Just send me my food and I'll pay. But they refused not only to send the food, but refused to try and figure out what went wrong. All I got was suspicion about why it took me two and a half hours to call them. Ever played league of legends? Those games can last about 45 minutes. I didn't stress about the time because I know delivery takes longer with all the Covid stuff. I'm just super frustrated and didn't deserve the treatment I got. I hope they read this and realize how stupid they are. If they don't reach out I'll never order...

Updated because my boyfriend encouraged me to try them again after the owner called and apologized for the poor customer service of the relative who continues to work there in spite of the many complaints about him. We tried a calzone My rating hasn't changed. If you like a soggy, wet, flavorless, ricotta sandwich then this is the place for you. If you're looking for a delicious calzone full of mozzarella and toppings then do yourself a favor and go to Salvatore's or anywhere else that makes calzones. Clumpy ricotta just doesn't do it. Used to love Little Venice but the look and quality of the pizza has gone down hill drastically. As has the customer service. Pies are misshapen. The slices are all different sizes. Some big, some tiny. Toppings are messy and all over the place. The man who answers the phone the majority of the time is incredibly rude and argumentative, refusing to take responsibility, and becomes insulting if there's a mistake with your order and you call about it. I used to order from them at least once a week because I like their wings but after the last couple of experiences with incorrect pizzas and rude customer service they've lost a...
