In general, the impressions were not the best, perhaps I need to visit again, as they say, give this place a second chance. Initially, I did not like the fact that when the restaurant was 30% full, we were seated next to a noisy group that literally shouted at the entire establishment, which was not entirely pleasant. The next thing was the water... We asked for just water, to which they did not say anything and brought bottled water, which is on the menu, immediately opened it and poured it into glasses. Then the waitress gave recommendations for espresso martini, said that we would like it and it was worth trying, but it turned out that they do not make it according to the classic recipe and we refused this cocktail. Korean spare ribs were overdried, the only thing that saved this evening was the special dish of the evening, seafood stew Cioppino. For this dish, all our wishes were taken into account and it is served with very tasty bread. I hope that this was just an accident, and...

Earlier this evening (a Tuesday night), I spontaneously stopped by Angelina's for the first time. I'd been wanting to try it out, and finally had a chance. Though the place was hopping, I was lucky enough to get in. I am so glad I did!

The staff was friendly, efficient, and attentive, and clearly willing to take extra steps to ensure that patrons had a wonderful experience.

The food was absolutely delicious. It was cold and snowing outside and I was craving something warm and comforting. The chicken gnudi I ordered fit the bill perfectly. SO good! But I also made note of other menu items that would appeal to me when I'm craving something fresh and light. The menu is well balanced and there's something for everyone. (And I didn't even mention their fantastic beverage menu!)

Finally, the atmosphere is warm and inviting and equally appropriate for a casual dinner or a special night out. I will...

In a market packed with excellent restaurants, Angelina's still manages to stand out as a cut above the rest! Do not hesitate to come in and experience their seasonal menu, that's crafted to encourage sharing (though you're not forced to!). The service was knowledgeable, unobtrusive, but still very attentive. Ambiance is warm and familiar, with fresh flowers on the table. Every dish our table of 3 tried was excellent, and we were blown away by the different tastes! Of note: gnudi were outstanding, as were the mushrooms. Many vegetarian options, some vegan, and a variety of gluten free, all well labeled. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, as it's on street, but it's worth it in the end! Please forgive the not clean plates in the pictures...I just couldn't help myself and started eating before I remembered to pull out my camera. That's how...

What a welcome addition to the South Wedge scene. This space is indeed special, it’s been a number of different businesses throughout the years, but I have to say, this current setup is among the most beautiful. Really nice elevated space. Inside you’ll find a hands on owner, you’ll see there on a weekend night (Hi Bob! Super nice guy) and a staff that really makes you feel welcome and special. It was just a normal evening out, my husband and I wanted to try somewhere new, and this was perfect for a little date night. Food was excellent. Chicken Cutlet was plentiful in size and flavor. And I really appreciated the tastes of the Caesar salad. Feel reminiscent to a upscale restaurant in NYC, but not stuffy. In a few words? Refined and charming. Great work, Bob and staff. Overall a noteworthy experience. We will be back!
