Zoc's Gourmet — Restaurant in City of Rochester

From the moment I walked into this spot it felt very welcoming. The people working were super kind and answered any questions I had. It's a small place, but the food is delicious! I got a burger with spinach artichoke dip on it (can't remember the name off the top of my head) and it was great. The fries were also extremely tasty! My only suggestion is that they should put descriptions of the food they had. They had a list of specialty burgers, but unless you asked you didn't really know what was on them. But I asked and it was well worth it. You also have the option of building your own burger, which I'm sure is just as good. Go here, eat...

First time eating here today. Was pretty busy during the lunch rush so plan accordingly. I has the Zai burger which has carmelized onions, meat sauce and cheese. It was excellent. The cheese was so melted and gooey. The burger is a nice grind and juicy and nicely seared on the outside. The meat hot sauce is phenomenal - it has a savory flavor along the lines of a classic Rochester meat hot sauce like Tahous or Schallers. The prices are reasonable and the service was polite. I tried Zoc's for the first time today and I was not disappointed. I ordered a Turkey burger, sweet potato fries and a chocolate milkshake. The burger was one of the best Turkey burgers I've had in years, if not ever. The sweet potato fries were good and the milkshake, made with real ice cream, was very well made.

After eating here, I can honestly see why it's so highly reviewed and I will definitely come back again.
