Ordered a pepperoni pizza for pick up around 11:30 am recently. They said about 25 minutes. I waited 25 minutes and then drove to pick it up. I walked in and stood by the bar for about 10 minutes. There was only 2 couples at the bar eating salads (granted, they could have been working on catering orders too). During that ten minutes the lady working the bar didn't say anything to me. Another lady walked right by me, looked at me and didn't say anything. Richard DeSalvo himself walked by the bar, sat there for 2 minutes, looked at me, and didn't say anything. Finally, the lady working the bar brought my pizza from the back, set it on a table next to me, said "Tyler?" and walked back behind the bar. I then waited an additional 10 minutes before she waved me up to the bar to cash me out. Awful. I get home to eat the pizza and it was burnt. The cheese came off in one big piece. The sauce was skimpy and average tasting at best. I made hand tossed pizza for 5 years in Oneida. It's not hard to serve with a smile, and put out a good product. Very...
Read moreMy Mother passed away and a needed a restaurant venue in Rome to have her celebration of life luncheon. I was in Rome for one day making arrangements as I am from Albany, NY. As soon as I walked in the door I was pleasantly greeted by the owner Rich. What can I do for you? I told him that I need to have food for about 50 people in four days. Rich could not have been more accommodating. Within minutes the food menu was selected. When we arrived Saturday everything was perfect. There was such a variety of food. Chicken Sinatra and the eggplant parmigiana being a favorite of everyone. Coffee, garlic bread, dessert was included. The quality and taste of the food was superb. I cannot thank Rich enough for his generosity and kindness. Without a doubt this is a five...

I had the chicken Parm and the person who I was with had the pasta of the day (penne) with the meatball. The meatball tasted bad, as if either the meat had gone or if it had been very over seasoned. The chicken Parm was better, but for the price we paid I wouldn't order it again. The pasta was boxed and overcooked. The box pasta isn't really a problem, but again for the price we paid, we could have made the same meal at home and gotten with 4x the amount of pasta. We were really excited to try this local place but unfortunately we will not...
