We finally went to Kelly's after driving by it 100 times over the last 10 years. All the reviews said the burgers were good so we had high expectations. We weren't disappointed. The burgers were cooked medium just as requested and they were delicious. The place is a gem, it's the complete opposite of the pretentious restaurants you find in Rye. It's a hole in the wall oozing with character. The prices are ridiculously cheap and it almost concerns me. It's weird but I would actually be more comfortable if they charged $2 more for everything on the menu. They could easily do that and customers wouldn't blink an eye. Some suggestions: 1) The crinkle fries have no salt or seasoning of any kind. They need to season their fries with something, 2) The burgers, although delicious, are clearly preformed and bought in bulk. If they made their own burgers I can just imagine how crazy good they would be, 3) The chili on the hot dog and on the burger were skimpy. Charge another buck or two and pile on the chili! Service was also good. We'll be back...

We waited 15 minutes while the woman Kelly shot the shut with a customers kids... 15 minutes.. no drinks no menus. I finally got out menus myself. Service was a ZERO. The server takes our order, drinks apps and meals, returns with water 10 minutes after, LS short, the bland food comes, we finish and had to practically beg to pay the bill. A bus boy got our bill. I left cash and left.... Worst...
Read more**Update after Covid: hadn’t been here for almost a year and half, still a local go to. Menu has had few minor changes but the food is still outstanding. Reminds me of those days after Rye High when we used to hit this place before heading downtown to Baskin Robins when they were still there. Overall, still 5 stars, great food, same atmosphere taking your back to either 2019 before Covid or back to the 90’s. Love it.
Original Review: Fantastic family owned place, mostly locals here. The Sirloin Steak sandwich on the garlic bread has been my go to. The chilli fries is another one! Limited seating, if going for dinner, try and get there early. Coming here since...
