We have been looking for a new Chinese restaurant since our old one, which I have been a loyal customer, for over 10 years. Just isn’t the same anymore. So we have been hearing about Ming’s up on State street, We decided to Check it out. this was our first time here and let me tell you… It was delicious !!! The food was not old or overcooked. I had the boneless ribs with pork lo mein dinner combo, And my Husband had General Tao’s and fried rice combo. We we’re very happy with our meal !! It was tasty without being overpowering in flavor. The meat tasted tender and fresh, not overcooked and tough, or all you can taste is sugar or sodium. Ming’s was the total opposite of our past experiences with other local chinese places. We loved it and hope it’s like there every time ! We usually have Chinese once a week. We’ll definitely be returning to Ming’s...
Read moreMings on state st. We were customers for years. We travel across the city to get the food from there. The food WAS phenominal, flavor was always spot on, fresh and awesome. Tonight we ordered #1. Hot & spicy shrimp- pan fried shrimp was hard as a brick and Not spicy, white rice was over cooked and gummy and no flavor; #2. Shrimp mei fun- NO Flavor at all. The only sauce/ liquid on the noodles was the water the noodles were cooked in; #3. Wonton egg drop soup- no flavor, added soy sauce, salt and it still had no flavor.the wontons, we have no idea what meat was in there. It wasnt any wonton we ever tasted before. Bottom line is we wasted $28.00, are still starved and the only thing that is feeling full from food is our trash can!! Needless to say the new owners are not meeting up to the former owners standards...
Read moreIts clear the lady is rude, just by reading the reviews. This will make me never want to go to this restaurant. Some of you satisfied and loyal customers should tell the woman Thomas even though she's working really hard, she really ought to spruce up her customer service with a smile.
No.1 Chinese restaurant on state street will always be my restaurant to order from for all my clients, even though I have to drive much farther to get to it. I am in walking distance from Ming's restaurant. So if she could step up her game on customer service, then I'd be there ordering way more often.
Something to think about Mr Ming Chinese...
